  1. Pitchers with an ERA over 5 that have 1 good offspeed pitch are this offense's kryptonite
  2. I don't think him getting good results is luck by any means, but I don't think he'll come close to a 2.50 ERA over his next 150 innings either
  3. That sounds good in theory, but I don't see how you can expect more than 3 innings from Rodon right now. You really want to do what will likely be a bullpen game in Game 1?
  4. Lynn has gotten away with a ton of challenge sinkers/4seamers that are middle-middle this year. I would have preferred a cutter too, but Lynn really rides his luck throwing so many pitches middle-middle vs good hitters.
  5. Let's not get shutout by a guy with an ERA, FIP, and xFIP over 5
  6. The offense has gone back to being non existent since the clincher.
  7. Moncada and Ramirez both having a terrible defensive series is odd to see
  8. There has never been a good in-game interview in the history of tv broadcasts it's cringe every time
  9. Where is the Vaughn with great plate discipline we were promised in his scouting reports?
  10. This lineup desperately needs the July version of Vaughn to show up for the playoffs.
  11. Against an awful pitcher. This being so predictable is why I'm significantly more concerned about the offense than bullpen heading into the playoffs.
  12. At least this might finally be the off-season where Cleveland trades Jose Ramirez
  13. Lynn's knee has me spooked. I know the results have still been good since he came off the IL, but he doesn't look like the same pitcher he was earlier in the season
  14. I thought his AB's last night were pretty good. I'm more optimistic about about him showing some life given how well he hit between May-July than I am Sheets, at this point.
  15. Feels like hitters are batting .500 on GBs that don't leave the infield vs Bummer this year
  16. One of Sheets or Vaughn showing a pulse so the Sox have a credible DH option in the playoffs would be nice
  17. Don't really understand why Burr is the choice in a high leverage situation vs Ramirez and Reyes, but I'm glad it worked out
  18. The Sox backup cactcher is choosing between the worst pitch framer or worst pitch blocker on the planet and neither of them can hit
  19. You know it's a good day for the offense when even Cesar is hitting the ball hard
  20. 6th or 7th starter and mixing his innings between starting & the pen seems like a perfect use for him. There's minimal pitching depth in the upper minors, too. He'll be a critical guy for this team next season.
