That sounds good in theory, but I don't see how you can expect more than 3 innings from Rodon right now. You really want to do what will likely be a bullpen game in Game 1?
Lynn has gotten away with a ton of challenge sinkers/4seamers that are middle-middle this year. I would have preferred a cutter too, but Lynn really rides his luck throwing so many pitches middle-middle vs good hitters.
Lynn's knee has me spooked. I know the results have still been good since he came off the IL, but he doesn't look like the same pitcher he was earlier in the season
I thought his AB's last night were pretty good. I'm more optimistic about about him showing some life given how well he hit between May-July than I am Sheets, at this point.
6th or 7th starter and mixing his innings between starting & the pen seems like a perfect use for him. There's minimal pitching depth in the upper minors, too. He'll be a critical guy for this team next season.
