  1. Jose >> Rizzo by a fairly wide margin
  2. Time to add Richie to the old ignore list
  3. Jesus dude. We’re not making a western here
  4. The rules are the rules and they are collectively bargained. When it's time to re-negotiate the CBA, the players can try to change the rules. And honestly, the "unfair" stuff is kind of silly. They play different sports and have different responsibilities.
  5. I generally am a service time watcher, but the best way to fix the service time problem is to sign guys which, for all the bullshit people say about Rick, Hahn is actually very good at.
  6. Lol he's 6 for 9 so far in his AZL stint
  7. Collins should be batting every game regardless of pitchers’ handedness.
  8. The complete picture with the White Sox is going to look eerily similar in terms of "how the players got where they are" It's fairly obvious the White Sox are attempting to follow this model. The fact that a certain low-rent poster (see my sig) apparently disagrees with me only solidifies my point. His takes are shockingly simple.
  9. Houston had a complete culture change (new GM, new manager), White Sox had a complete culture change (new rebuild, new manager) Houston played poorly for a number of seasons and accrued high draft picks, White Sox played poorly and accrued high draft picks The difference is the White Sox were able to trade valuable assets for future talent. If the trend is any indication, the White Sox are approaching the upswing in performance in a similar fashion to what the Cubs and Astros did. So what I said was mostly accurate.
  10. Being a Sox fan in Chicago is still a cultural thing. The issue is losing does nothing for the casual fan. That’s where losing hurts. Die hard fans will likely be there regardless but they don’t fill a stadium every night
  11. Honestly, the only lesson to be learned is "don't trade for washed up pitchers" Tatis had never played a professional game when we traded him
  12. It actually doesn’t. It has been mentioned before: Houston has an under .500 record and a ring. The Yankees are way over .500 and only have 1. In case it wasn’t obvious to you, we are on the Houston model
  13. It’s fairly obvious Tatis was traded when the goal was different. Almost everything about the White Sox has changed since then.
  14. Then I suggest you go do this: find all the worst trades in MLB history and see how all the teams fared. When you’re done report back. That was a different era in White Sox baseball. Stop living in the past.
  15. Your therapist is underpaid.
  16. This is one way to celebrate a White Sox win...
  17. You’re right but this board won’t forgive you for it
  18. Bulls are still bad... but Coby White could be a star.
  19. Glad to see that, for sure. Greg should apply for it for funsies.
