Jerry Reinsdorf has been the owner of the White Sox my entire life and it turns out he doesn't actually value winning or the fans.

I think the line happens when the owner of the team craps on the fanbase to the public. At this point I feel like I don't have a team, because the White Sox don't want anything to do with us. @Lightly Folded may fall into some delusion where there's honor in cheering for that garbage organization but Jerry crossed a line.

It's fandom. it's not a commitment at all. Anyone "committed to the White Sox" is a fool that this point because the team isn't committed to us. At this point, you're just cheering for the laundry.

I'm not, but being a Sox fan has been good like 3 times in the last 15 years.

I know this is going to sound sacrilege, but I'm almost to the point where I'm like "Go Already". The city can sue to keep the history and some other team will use the second slot in Chicago as a bargaining chip. I think the reason I feel this way is because I have had enough of watching non-baseball

If Jerry is still alive, I could see this happening and I hate it.

I'm not usual a "clubhouse culture" guy but I don't really want TA back based on the disaster that was last season. Felt the same way with the LaRoche crap.

He seems like a fine dude who has some struggles, but this is the right move.

If I'm TA, I take the same offer and go elsewhere.
