Right.
No elite pass rusher can beat a TE, T and G on a play. Sorry. These aren't chips or dives at the knees. These are full blown blocks.
Donald did nothing on Sunday when Daniels and Whitehair blocked him.
In the first 4 weeks he had 5 sacks and 4 FF. If you're implying he went from elite to not in a month and a half, I once again present the idea of quiting while you're behind.
The broadcast literally highlighted the fact that he was being double and triple teamed 3 times on Sunday, to the point where they finally dropped him into coverage. Bears OLB coach said the same for the Lions game. No elite talent gets through 2-3 blocks at a time, dude. If Floyd and Lynch weren't useless he would probably get more looks.
The trade looks like a disaster? Quit while you're behind. Guys on occasion go through a rough patch. Donald had 1 sack in his first 5 games this year. The Raiders used that pick for Josh Jacobs, who's a good player and would be a mediocre one here with this OL. No sane person would take a good RB over a great edge rusher.
He designed Miller open for a touchdown and Trubisky underthrew it by a hair down the seam. He designed Braunecker on a wheel route that Trubisky threw about 17 feet off the ground. The INT was a bad throw that Miller acted like his normal idiotic self on. Gabriel has 3 drops, Wims has 1 and Miller is mentally inept. The OL has regressed and can't run block for shit
The punt at the end of the half and then not calling timeouts to give a Pro Bowl returner a chance was stupid, but the QB and playmakers outside of Robinson are bad
If you look at it that way, sure, but there's no way he doesn't help them get to the playoffs more than f***ing Slater Koekkoek. This is probably best for his development, but I don't think this is a playoff team anyway, so my take is for him to develop in the NHL.
Sox sign Ryu (4/$80), Hamels (2/$28), Harris (3/$33) and Grandal (4/$72).
Sox trade Cease, Stiever, Rutherford and Collins to Boston for Betts and sign him to a 7 year, $200M extension.
