  1. Don't even try. He won't stop. It won't be his potential or coaching or athleticism or work ethic that gets him over the hump, it'll be because fans kept complaining and it magically changed the outcome
  2. Seeing the progress of Moncada, Anderson and Jimenez & a more dollars couldn't hurt
  3. As it's currently trending, you have a real good chance at being right. Obviously we have no idea about the former but yeah, odds are probably so. Regardless there's no sense in b****ing. There are a ton of what if's in my Bears fandom life and this would just be another. Hopefully he turns it around
  4. A division winner for years =/= a dynasty but ok No one said people aren't realizing that Trubisky over Mahomes was mistake, even as a Bears fan. It's the laughing part that's just really fucking dumb. Are you actually laughing? It's like the dopes who "LMAO Cease got called up too early" in the GDT's when Cease has a bad start. Are you really laughing or trying to be clever?
  5. Yeah, a dynasty. Sure. Take a look. That'll change things.
  6. How about no comparisons at all? Does that make you feel good? It's probable that Pace made the wrong pick, yeah. Continuing to talk about it might change it, right? And comparing the second best QB of the decade to him after one drive was a dumbass idea.
  7. Are you like always drunk or something?
  8. They probably have more talent than every team in the NL except the Dodgers
  9. It can be argued that the Cubs, too, are in disarray.
  10. Ok I was reading through the mentions and this tweet made me laugh
  11. Comparing Trubisky to someone like Rodgers makes you look like the jackass that everyone around here knows you are, but as a Bears fan, it's asinine to use a laughing emoji to make fun of the QB of your favorite team in order to prove a point that isn't there. Stay hot.
  12. Good comparison. Really fair. It's almost like one is arguably the most talented of all time and the other isn't
  13. Are teams really going to be lining up to trade better players than that for Lopez?
  14. That'll make for a horrendous corner OF defensively. Robert better be ready to run.
  15. I'm not sure how accurate "good" is There's a way to perhaps see him improve in that area and it isn't to play a Mendoza line PED loser over him
  16. I think the Cubs would gladly take Schwarber having a .852 OPS annually. His defense sucks though. The rest of the guys you listed I agree with
  17. If you think finding a replacement for Hamels is going to do the trick, you're wrong. Their pitching blows
  18. Kimbrel has allowed 9 homers. I could be wrong but that seems like an exponential amount for 1) a closer in general and 2) for a closer who's only been pitching for a few months.
  19. I wonder if he bumped his knee on a machine or something. Really odd
  20. Pineiro injured his right knee in the weight room and is questionable. Pineiro declined to speak to reporters. Nagy said they're going to be "cautious." Jesus christ
