  1. Good to see Zavala come through with a 3-4 night. To my recollection, his average severely dipped lately.
  2. Typically I'd say to throw out the other seasons, but since you so badly don't want to, you do realize what those teams looked like, right? They looked exactly how you want the 2018 team to look- a mix of young players and vets, vying to compete in a division where (as you would say) "anything can happen! sneak in the playoffs and win it all!" But I'll give the benefit of the doubt and actually throw it out. You can't judge Hahn on what happened from 2013-2016 (but again, if you really want to, those teams were filled with veteran players, so why are you so upset with how he constructed those teams?). Hell, even 2017-now, you can't judge him. These are truly what they said they would be- throw away seasons to grow and develop prospects all the while playing some former decent-good prospects to see if they find a diamond in the rough. I'm not sure what your guys' point is, but I'm starting to wonder if you and Greg are the same person. Either way, it's super annoying. It's not even an opinion anymore. The fact is, the Sox have tried the veteran/youth mixture already and it hasn't worked. No team goes that route anymore. Give it up.
  3. To be fair, the call is usually made as soon as the hands go up. No player usually rounds the bases and then an ump checks.
  4. Disagree. Davidson’s been the team’s best offensive player this year. I could see it being Moncada though
  5. RT @kpowell720: Rick Renteria on Yolmer Sanchez: "I hope I can expand his role and start using him in the outfield at some point." #WhiteSox
  6. At times Anderson can be borderline unwatchable. He has so many tools though. I hope he can put it all together some day
  7. I didn’t *hate* Moncada. I said he was striking out too much and that he should have swung at more first pitch fastballs. Neither, to my knowledge, were incorrect although perhaps I was a tad impatient. Delmonico has no power, doesn’t hit for average, doesn’t walk much and has s***ty defense. Of course I don’t care much as he won’t be on the roster in 2021, but for the time being, it’s painful to watch.
  8. I keep hearing about his good AB’s. If you continue to have good AB’s with crap results combined with below average defense, I’m not going to care about “good AB’s.”
  9. Delmonico seems very likeable as a person, but he’s quite the opposite as a baseball player.
  10. Looked like Moncada got in before the tag, but it’s not worth the challenge with Delmonico up & 2 outs in the first
  11. Not that Mazara is a bad player, but he was rumored to be the center piece of a potential Quintana-to-Texas deal, and so I think the Sox got the trade right in the end.
  12. What does FV stand for, and is 60 the max/best?
  13. Based on this article, Bobby Witt Jr seems to be a stud. https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories/bobby-witt-jr-stands-out-at-under-armour-pre-season-event/
  14. Forgot about KC. Like Baltimore, they have 13 wins.
  15. And a loss means Texas is 8 wins ahead of the Sox, too, so yeah if Moncada, Anderson and Davidson all want to go 2-4 and the rest of the squad wants to suck, it's fine by me. Abreu and Sanchez can get a hit or two if they want, also.
  16. I don't follow the NBA, but from what I've heard, the top 2 is definitely Doncic and Ayton in some order. As a college basketball fan, however, I think whoever has the #3 pick would be making a huge mistake not taking Bagley. To me, there shouldn't be any ambiguity.
