  1. CREDE, with a bomb to left field! He crushed that hanging breaking ball. 4-2 Sox.
  2. s***field pops out to Uribe to end the Yanks half of the 6th. Any word on Schlongs pitch count?
  3. Great call by a fan: "Are the Yanks buying you too ump!"
  4. Lee grounds into a DP to abruptly end the 5th. This 3-2 lead won't cut it, we need more runs. I won't feel safe with a 3-2 lead, especially if f***ing botch is pitching.
  5. Timo slaps the ball to Jeter and grounds out on the first pitch. One out.
  6. Queer Eye grounds to Schlong who initiates the DP to end the top of the 5th. 3-2 Sox.
  7. I'm praying the Sox will scrape across a few more runs this game. Because Marte and Politte pitched yesterday we're probably going to be experiencing Billy Time if the lead holds. Schlong issues a lead off walk. God dammit.....
  8. Worthless Willa K's again. An Inning that started off promising with a Crede single quickly turned in Yanks favor when he was doubled up after a Uribe line drive. Top of the 5th, 3-2 Sox.
  9. Crede defies the odds and singles to lead off the 4th. Uribe up.
  10. Schoe escapes the inning after a 2 out single. Still 3-2 good guys. Crede "automatic out" Uribe Olivo due up in the Sox half of the 4th.
  11. Not really. He always seem to go up to the plate looking to pull the ball into left. His last strike was terrible because it was a off balanced/Louis Castillo like hack that made no contact. Rob Gallas in the booth. It would be great if Hawk yelled HE GAWN when Rob exits the room
  12. Konerko reaches on a single into right. Gload up, and retires on a WEAK popout to A-rod. Top of the 4th, 3-2 Sox.
  13. CLee K's on a terrible swing for the second out. Moose seems to be entering a groove, not good.
  14. Replay shows how great Timos catch really was. Who else thinks that Baseball tonight will screw the sox and not show that play.
  15. Great play by Timo Perez in center to rob A-rod of a hit and save this game from being tied. 3-2 Sox.
  16. Damn Olivo trys to pick off cairo before he gets the ball, and it ends up rolling right under his mit. Miguel moves into third. Schoe K's Williams for the 2nd out.
  17. 3-2 Sox, Cairo on second with 2 outs.
  18. What is this, Wrigley field? Get these people out of the booth and start commentating on the game! Hawk remains silent throughout the interview.
  19. Ah, just noticed I have eclipsed the 3,000 post mark. Now I'll be off to the SLP board to create a new thread congratulating myself.
  20. That was a damn fine knuckle curve by Mussina. Willa looked lost that at bat. 2 outs.
  21. I'm slowly jogging alongside of the wagon. When Gload screws up I'll tear him apart, but if he continues to come through for us I'll jump aboard.
  22. Schlongeneweis looking quite solid these two innings. We keep on teeing off of Mussina this game should be locked by the mid innings.
  23. Uribe with the fine catch of the soft line drive for the first out. Who knows how that play would of went with Jose.....
  24. That won't last. Here's a thread beastly created after he was previously banned. The first post is the most intruiging: http://www.soxtalk.com/index.php?showtopic=11970&hl= .......One month later he f***ed up, again. I've never had a problem with beastly outside of the days leading up to his most recent suspension. He should know we'll all be watching him now, and it wouldn't be very smart of him to return to WSC form.
  25. Neil was a bit wild, but the one call the home plate umpire didn't make is the one that led to a run. With the bases loaded and a 3-1 count Cotts was severely squeezed on a pitch. Sandy set up on what appeared to be the middle of the plate and Cotts hit the spot. Hawk sounded agitated (and rightfully so) after the replay showed a pitch that was obviously a strike. He was lucky to escape the inning with any less damage; Ruben Sierra swung at a bad pitch that resulted in DP.
