U of I was leading the big 10 going into the big 10 tourney too, what a shame.

I think it has more to do with shingo's control problems than it has to do with hitters figuring him out. This year he has had 0 control of his breaking stuff. So he's forced to throw fastballs for strikes. Last year he mastered the frisbee and could keep hiters on thier toes. If he can get control of his slow stuff again he can be useful. I think charlotte's a good place for that.

I really wish i could be there but i'm still in the great white north till tommorow. I'll be watching on mlb.tv though. do us proud

the cubs won't be in a complete rebuilding stage for awhile but their best shot at a championship was in the past 2 years no doubt. they'll have trouble putting together a team like those again.

Just checking in from canada (I'm here for the week). I was at the game today at the skydome, errr rogers centRE. 1) skydome sucks. so quiet, so bland. honestly feels like your walking into an office building at first. 2) i hate the twins. 3) even though the skydome sucks, it has some nice ass video screens.

we actually saw timo do something right in the field and crede messes it up. I'll usually defend stuff like this, but crede shoudl have had that, no excuses.
