Sox Favorite to Land “Cuban Ohtani”
The nickname is garbage. He hasn't been a pitcher in a while. I wouldn't be surprised if his agent created the nickname.

White Sox Pregame/Postgame
What have you all thought it it this year? You have Chuck and Hawk who are the regular hosts. Then you've got a 3rd host about half the time. Frank is typically the 3rd host, but sometimes it is Beckham or Pods. There will probably be others that fill in as the 3rd host throughout the year. I've enjoyed it this year. Chuck-Ozzie-Frank is my favorite combination. Ozzie provides the comedy, but can be difficult to understand. Gordon Beckham was really good in my opinion. Not a big fan of Scotty Pods on there, though.

COVID-19/Coronavirus thread
The fact that you honestly believe this is concerning. There's absolutely zero chance they only had a few thousand death from covid, given their population size and the fact that it started there...

Coping with Tatis Jr's Success
You're thinking of Voldemort - from the Harry Potter movies. I'm talking about Tatis Jr.

Lorretta's Lounge renamed after TLR
I think people like tray and Green Line liked the La Russa signing at first, and maybe they still do to an extent, but everybody sees the stupid mistakes he makes in game and out of the game. Those guys know he's done a bunch of dumb ass shit this year. Hell, Green Line railed on Ricky more than anybody. He's not oblivious to Tony's shit managing these year. But TLR is such a controversial figure to a good chunk of members here, and everybody knows that. It's such an easy way to get under certain member's skin. They could admit their guy TLR has made some mistakes, or instead they could just ramp up their defense of him, trigger a bunch of people and laugh about it. They go with the latter.

Coping with Tatis Jr's Success
I thought I was over the Tatis Jr. trade a while ago. Hasn't bugged me much lately. Then I took a look at his stats. He's got 13 homeruns in 32 games. That's 61 homeruns over 150 games. Sporting a 1.074 OPS. I can't help but feel that he may be the next Mike Trout-esque superstar. A guy who realistically should win MVP every year. Sorry to rehash and old and horse beaten topic, but the sting just came back to me after seeing his stats. That trade is Babe-Ruth-to-the-Yankees bad. All time awful trade. I'm struggling to cope with it right now.

Fernando Tatis Jr. thread
Tatis Jr. Is fucking incredible. He has 13 homeruns in 32 games... Hes got potential to be a Mike Trout type player. Un-fucking-believable. This is going to go down as the worst trade ever. The Red Sox at least got cash in the Babe Ruth trade. The White Sox got James Shields AND had to pay him a sum of money greater than $0.00.

Coordinated days off for all leagues
Anybody else hate this new thing? It's pretty disappointing when I check here to get my prospect dopamine hit, but every single team has the day off. I would rather it be staggered like the olden days.

5/26 Cardinals vs. White Sox
Aren't you the guy that thinks the 2016 team is better than this team? Cmon man.

5/26 Cardinals vs. White Sox
TLR has been working him like a dog. Ruiz is clearly a bit fatigued.

And That's a White Sox Winner !!
It's going to be ok brother. Deep breaths in and out. This team is better than the 2016 team. If you can't see that, then I don't even know.

Joe West
He's 68. It must be hard to kneel behind a plate and call a game at that age. Having umpires that old is a joke.
