Rendon has a decent glove at 3B. Moncada would likely be above average to elite in the outfield given his speed and arm. Add Robert in center and Madrigal at 2nd and you have an extremely good defense. I would be completely ok with moving Moncada to the OF because we signed Rendon.

I wonder how much it would take to get Avi? He's better than JD in the outfield. Could offer decent production at a FRACTION of the price. DH him if need be. I'm officially on team bring-back-Avi

I get greg. Greg gets me. We're both guys who don't need numbers to see how good a guy is at baseball. We've got a pair of eyes that show us everything we damn well need to know about a guy. We don't need a computer to tell us what the ideal move is in a given situation. Our guts and instincts will tell us what the correct move is. Baseball is America's greatest pastime, and it is being ruined by a bunch of nerds. If we see one more team using an "opener", we're packing our bags and moving to Tijuana together. No more MLB for us.

That offense would be absoluty dirty. I just don't think Castellanos is worth the money he will get, especially considering we would have Eloy in the other corner. That defense would suck.

I saw somebody bring this up earlier, and it is something I have always wondered. Benetti gets gigs from other networks all the time. He calls multiple sports. He is talented, has the voice, and has a great story. This is a guy every station will want. Will the Sox be able to retain him? Maybe the Reindorf's can sign him to a big time deal (lol) and retain him as the White Sox and Bulls play by play announcer ??
