You really think his glove wouldn't play at 2nd? I think he'd be fine there. I think he has a higher offensive upside that Chase. I agree with you though. One of those 3 should probably be traded for pitching. It's very possible Chase and Sam's value will be at all-time highs after this season. It's also possible the Sox don't believe in Colson's bat or health longterm. I have no idea which of those 3 will be legit players long-term. I'd choose trading Colson to be honest. He should have the most value and I'm not sure about his bat/health longterm. We also have Roch coming up in the near future. Trading Peters while his value is high is an interesting thought. Seems like a shrewd move a team like the Rays would make. Really ballsy move.

Bonemer is too good for AA already. He's doing better than he was in A+. Lowered his strikeout rate from 29% to 24% and has a 153 wRC+. Dude is just wrecking every league he plays in. Not even 21 years old either. I'd imagine the bat is MLB ready. Just doesn't make sense to bring him up at this point in the season and with the lockout. Wait and get that extra year of control.

I completely agree with you. I think Getz got high on his own supply. He really thought he could "fix" these guys midseason? As if it is that easy to drastically improve players.
