A BA of over .460?!?! WOW!!! Go Cotts and Reed!
Did anyone notice that the Cubs don't have ONE player on that list? According to Cub fans, their minor league system's better than ours! HA!
That's a sad story. It shouldn't hurt the Braves much at all; but any injury like that is sad. Hope he can recover.
Oh, you might wanna change that picture in your sig soon!
That middle of the lineup with Thomas-Ordonez-Lee-Valentin is nothing but solid! Ordonez is quite the "clean up" guy. He's sets a good example and is great in the clubhouse. Here's to hopefully his entire career spent here on the southside of Chicago.
Go Maggs!
Wasn't that thing a thing of art!!! And it was even sweeter that the Sox crushed JOE MAYS of all people on the same day he did it!!!
Maggs, we all love you!!!
rest of MLB.
Wouldn't that be June-July-August-September Swoon?!
They are dropping like flies. If anyone goes down, nobody can come up, since their prospects are all getting injured. The Cubs are in deep s***!!!
Go Houston and St. Louis!!!
I listened to the interview and I'm liking what I'm hearing. I think that he's been much better since he was brought back up here from AAA. He's showing more patience at the plate and is actually making contact. If we can get him going, our lineup will be even more lethal!
But really, Carlos is one of our better players, so all of you who STILL are going to diss him should really try dissing someone else for the time being. He's improving both defensively and offensively.
If we continue just taking series after series, we'll creep up and overtake first easily. That's the main thing the Sox need to focus on. After winning the first two games, then close out the series with a solid performance.
or vice versa.
Vice versa doesn't swing here...lol
Should you ever be so crazy-lucky if your ass EVER got in my possession...mercy!
I luv it when they sound like Hawk Harrelson...
That would completely solve our problem defending up the middle, cuz our opposition wouldn't be able to even get the ball past him, cuz he'd be clogging that middle infield.
