That's an idea to ponder about Carlos hitting in the 2-hole. He responded well when asked to hit higher in the lineup last year, so I think he could very well take on the task.
One thing that we CANNOT do is deny Rowand playing time! He must be in there at least 1 game a week in order to keep up shape, if we want a good backup if we ever need it.
Baggs, I miss ya big time! Can't wait to meet ya very soon! Hope that computer of yours gets its ass in shape. Do it the American way and hit that son of a b****!!!
Brace yourself. Alomar's joining his brother, and he and Everett are coming into a clubhouse that's rocking right now. I think that'll rub off on the two.
I must admit I wasn't the biggest of Buehrle backers when he started off 2-10; however, it appears as if he's on track to pitch like we saw him pitch last year.
Let's GO MARKIE!!!
I say trade Jimenez for a reliever. It would make sense. Then Gary Glover could go to AAA. (If he has options left.)

That could be done. And I guess that Weaver COULD be a better #5 starter. But nothing more than that! He would be better than Wright.
If we can get Wright to drink what Garland did after his slow start, we may not even need help in our starting rotation.
Hell f***ing yea!!! And with today's trades, and considering Torii Hunter's comments, the sails of the Royals and Twins may have less air in them now. Things are looking VERY good on the south side right now!
Since when did KW drink a little George Steinbrunner??? I'm loving how gusty he's been! Let's just hope he doesn't give up on Carlos Lee or Joe Crede. Maybe Jiminez and Rios can be involved in this trade, if it, in fact, is gonna happen.
Since our starting rotation's looking pretty good now, why not put Weaver in the bullpen instead if we get him.
If we were to, in fact, go after Alomar, I'm thinking about a trade along the lines of Rios, Jiminez, and a minor league prospect for Alomar. We'd cut some of the fat, add on a solid bat and defender, and become a better team overall.
Let's just hope the Tribe goes back to sucking next week when we visit the Jake!
But, I'm elated that we are only 3.5 games back, after being 8.5 games back just 2 1/2 weeks ago! Things are looking up for this team, and the month of July will be a VERY telling month for how things may pann out for this team. I'm liking our chances.
