  1. World Series winner indeed...I could care less about sexual intercourse.
  2. Those new uniforms Boston has are probably their way of getting revenge on the Yankees for assisting us in getting Bartolo Colon.
  3. String that Christmas tree with Garland!
  4. I want a World Series in my lifetime! Anything to get that I am for.
  5. Bolingbrook, IL, the lovely SW suburb of Chicago, just 25 minutes away from Comiskey Park right off the Stevenson Expressway.
  6. Awww, thanks! The baseball team is the only team here at ISU that I even care about anymore (getting that graduation syndrome a year early, I guess). It's hard to see Coach Jeft Stewart go like that, but I've heard a lot of good stuff about our new head coach, who is "stepping up" from Evansville. I think they are going to impress people this year with Kevin O'dell in CF and Greg Blaesing at catcher as two leaders! We WILL miss Mike Saunches, who opted out of his senior year in favor of accepting a minor league contract with the Yankees. What do you know about our new coach?
  7. Yes, I am a junior here! I live in Watterson Towers. Only one more semester left here and then I return home for student teaching in Spring 2004!!! And hsc...Ummm, "lifetime student?" What the hell are you talking about? I graduated high school when I was supposed to graduate, got to college immediately after, and am now 21, and a second-semester junior. In May 2004, I will be graduating (on time, mind you). Lifetime student? Far from one!
  8. Ohhhh, check this out!!!! Once you read up on all the good information there, check out the photos given in the link at the bottom of the page! Some town Detroit is!!!
  9. Colon, because of the experience he brings to the mound.
  10. I agree, Jason...Valentin right now is more of a set-up man in the lineup than the type who gets the big RBIs. He was "Mr. Clutch" in 2000, but he's lost that title. Here's how I'm seeing this pann out... Jiminez Valentin Thomas Ordonez Konerko Lee Crede Rowand (when he gets here in May--injured and not 100% at the start of the season) Alomar (Manuel's all but declared him our starting backstop) Colon (Experience over youth) Buehrle Garland Wright Rauch As far as our pen goes, I think Wunsch is going to have a BIG year! Marte is our best-kept secret, and will act as our set-up man. Gordon, when on his game, can be VERY dangerous as well. Of course, Koch is a solid closer.
  11. Yea, I agree...Just on the 3B thing though. The others are all right indeed. I think part of it was that Crede didn't even play a third of last season. Had he played more, showing his value, he would have had more value.
  12. I believe it is something like he cannot play more than 80 games in the previous two seasons combined.
  13. BTW, check out my new avatar!!! Check out his positioning. He is staring at a home run hit ball that came off his bat. That's gonna be happening plenty of times this year!!!
  14. In conclusion, it is apparent that we have MANY quality players here! I find it ironic that the only position where the Cubs have anyone ranked above a Sox player is at 3B, and Bellhorn isn't ranked much above Crede. THAT is a statement the Cubune must take close look at. I am stoked about this season...We're going to go far!
  15. They have Koch as #15 in the relievers list! Oh, check out who is #29 on that list! LOL!
  16. As for starting pitchers, Colon is #10 and Buehrle's in at #18.
  17. Frank is #2 among DHs. I find it ironic that all the players on that list are in the AL!
  18. This'll make RPS happy...Crede is ranked #19 among 3Bs!
  19. As for SS, Valentin is listed at #15.
  20. At 2B, Harris and Jiminez are listed 21 and 22 respectively. Hopefully Harris would be in CF, as Jiminez can't play there, and Harris obviously can.
  21. If you click on the 1B rankings, Konerko stands at #8!
  22. Booyah!!! http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/fantasy/...playerId=150324 Oh, and WTG, Maggs! We all knew you were better than SamME.
  23. My Neal Cotts!!! Believe me, I know this guy and have seen him pitch. I know it was during his collegiate days here at Illinois State University, and it's a different level of play, but I think he is a positive addition to our system.
  24. Critic, Nice post! I too am a hockey first kind of girl! The Blackhawks by far are my greatest passion. I DO love the Bears, Sox, and Bulls too, but that love will never even approach the love that I hold for the Hawks. Oh, cwsox....Just remember one thing, and one thing only.... DEAD THINGS STILL SUCK!!!
