  2. Hey RPS, Here's an idea for the intro and closing songs... Open up with Metallica's "Enter Sandman." Part of the song goes "Exit light, enter night!" Well, aren't the Sox gonna be taking the light out of everyone they face this year? Close with Godsmack's "I stand alone." This song signifies that the Sox will stand alone as the victors at the end of the night. It also signifies that the Sox will stand alone as the World Series champions this year.

  4. Do you have the transcripts to your show for those of us who were watching the Coolest Game on Earth instead?
  5. Oh, I remember many moons ago when I was 18. Those were the days! Enjoy them when you can, for they won't last very long. Happy Birthday.

    Hey Heather

Oh, ok...I don't know, but I could ask Frank.
  7. Ok, guys. We all know how much Jerry Manuel loves to tinker with his lineup. So, how many times do you think he will go on a tinkering splurge?
  8. I think this is the first year in a while where the Sox are going into training camp solid in three of the four aspects of the game (rotation, pen, lineup)! I don't see any problem with our chances of mashing the ball! If anything, the opposition's rotation should be s***ting in their pants when they have to face it!

    Hey Heather

To be honest with you, I don't know what you're talking about. Sorry!
  10. Ummm, first of all, my dorm is 28 stories tall, not 22...The world's tallest college dorm! And yea, the Redbirds do suck so badly, I have boycotted them for the rest of the season. Instead, I have picked up a s***load of hours at work...Getting extra money will be great. But it was nice that we won. Know, doublem, that I will not be making the trip out to Peoria on the 12th when we play you there. Oh, and Illinois State has had a high-profile player grace its crossways. If you didn't know, Doug Collins played his college ball here at ISU.
  11. I like your new avatar better than the last!
  12. Just fyi to those still in the White Sox Three Strikes Trivia tournament that threads have been started for the matches.
  13. Nah, but I've been there three times, all three for retreats with my church youth group in high school at the Five Pines Christian Retreat Center. Though I couldn't live in the area, it's certainly a nice area to get away from things for a weekend! I personally loved our journeys around the Warren Dunes.
  14. By no means do I see the race for that division being very interesting! It will be closer than last season, but Atlanta is going to be running away with it once again...They just are too deep to be topped.
  15. One thing that I think had a part in the baserunning blunders was our 1B/3B coaches. Now that they are gone, we've got new coaches there, and I think we'll see improvement in the baserunning blunders IF these coaches are an upgrade...Obviously, we can't find this out until they actually begin playing the games.
  16. There's always the wonderful eye candy of KY and Corgie riding off the starboard of the Little Boat!
  17. cwsox, Ever been to Berrien Springs?
  18. Now what would you think would be the funnest thing then, Jason? Carlos Lee hitting a walk-off Grand Slam to win the World Seires or Mark Buehrle pitching a complete game shutout to win the World Series
  19. Carlos will make you wanna eat your words with his play this year! He has defensively improved each year since his entry into the majors, plus his offense isn't something of shame. In fact, Hawk even refered to Carlos as "Little Frank" a few times, comparing the ways he approaches the plate to Frank's. Carlos WILL make you all eat your words!
  20. Jason, make sure you say hello to Neal Cotts for me. Tell him that you've talked with a girl who would talk with him at Linkins Dining Center at ISU.
  21. The little montage they made of some of his greatest moments were completely awesome! I'll never forget the following words..."Jordan lets it go...CHICAGO WITH THE LEAD!!!!!!" as it swishes down any hopes for Utah beating us.
