Thumbs up to all who worked on bringing us the new and improved site. It looks much more professional, and easier to get around. And Matt's new article is great as well, giving hope for the next season.

Jerry was kinda a big dick (and man he's uglier, fatter, and SHORTER than I had ever imagined)...but B.J. was awesome! I got both of their autographs on my game ticket. Oh, and is B.J. ever S-E-X-Y!!! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm --DROOL--

Don't you suppose KW might be handeling this "under the table?" He could very well be working on a deal, which wouldn't be unveiled until the deal actually happens, that being the reason for it not being PUBLICALLY revealed. I dunno, but it might be a possibility. We might see Colon here.

I don't understand why so many people are so pessimistic about our chances of getting Colon. Montreal MUST dump a s***load of sallary quickly, and getting rid of Colon and Vasquez is inevitable for them to do that. There aren't many teams in the hunt for him right now, which increases our likeliness of getting him on our team. I just have this feeling that KW will do the unexpected and make a blockbuster trade (hopefully Wright would be in the deal instead of Garland, because I think Garland has a much more promising career ahead).

Considering how well Maggs has been progressing every year, I would not be surprised if he were to win the batting title within the next few years. I think he's gonna hit somewhere near .335 this year and will increase during 2004. He will soon be in that 50-home run club, blasting away Albert Belle's single season record. Maggs will be our star for years to come! He is the perfect man to build this team upon. Gotta love our Pepsi guy!

I'm in Red Rage, which is the student atletic fan club here at ISU. Well, anyway, I was at the ISU/Creighton game last night at Redbird Arena, and, sitting literally TEN FEET away from me was....... JERRY KRAUSE AND BJ ARMSTRONG!!! I could not believe my eyes, and both autographed my game ticket.

It is going to be VERY weird seeing the Tribe playing the game of "Who's worse?" with KC and the Pussies. Man have they ever hit a wall!!! I LOVE it. Our games with the Twinks will decide who wins this division.

I was listening to The Score this morning, and heard something that might be cool. Seems like Bud Selig is considering giving the winning league at the All Star Game home field advantage in the World Series rather than alternating each year. This might give the teams something more to play for, as the teams now are mostly comprised of players from teams that are still in the playoff hunt, the lower echelon teams getting only one representative.

We are probably not going to get Colon, so I'm kinda puzzled now as to who will fill the fifth spot in our rotation. Right now, I see Buehrle, Garland, Rauch, and Wright. Does this mean that KW's thinking of using Biddle in the starting rotation? I seriously don't think Biddle is the answer to our starting rotation.

Would you get people to play the part of the Des Plaines Police so that we can have the same fun listening in as we did last year?

RPS, I am going to get a car by the end of 2003, but do not have the software to broadcast from my laptop. NUKE might be interested in teaming up with me, as, just like me, the Hawks are his favorite sports team.

Solid performance by Fizer...What was that? 17 points in the second quarter for him? Unbelievable! Maybe the Bulls are beginning to catch on just a little, because I've seen them playing a little better than at the get-go of the season. A little endnote: When is Jay Williams supposed to return?

I'm glad KW didn't go get Fick, that geezer. He is just as clutch as SamME is, and is no more special than Lyle Mouton! He is nowhere near the calibur of someone who helps a team win a world series. His selection to the all star team is very misleading with much thanks to the fact that every team must have at least one representative. The ONLY positive I could see about if we were to get Fick would be that we could replace our lost ability to say "What the Foulke!" with "What the Fick!" THAT'S IT!
