  1. Best game I've ever been to. Iguchi's grand slam was simply epic.
  2. A.....J...... Forgive me, but I am unequivocally in.
  3. Not gonna lie, I'm happy to see him.
  4. How many times has everyone watched the highlights from last night? Think I'm at about 20. Reading a lot of the national coverage too, he's re energized the franchise in a big way already.
  5. Picked the wrong month to quit drinking. Ugh.
  6. Found a lot of consolation in the Reds/Cardinals game yesterday. Highlights showed what looked like a pretty empty Great American Ballpark for the rubber match of an intense opening series between division rivals. Cold temps + day game for them too, so I'm hoping that is truly the case for us. It's F-in Friday, glass is half full!
  7. Cinci announcers seem impressed with Surkamp
  8. Gary Redus
  9. Could we get a Wheeler for a Rios?? Man Giants fans would like to have that trade back...
  10. Pulling for him since spring training. Got to see a few games in AZ and thought he looked like a good natural hitter. Liked the no batting gloves too. How b*tching would it be if he turned into a Michael Young-like player?
  11. How is he being pitched to overall? I rarely get to see a game, rather listen to them -- imagine with how sh*tty he's been that pitchers must be just attacking him gleefully. But are they going mostly inside/outside/high/low? Or all of the above?? Agree that he's become a pitcher's spot in the order. Pathetic.
  12. All about the offense. Pitching has been tantalizingly good, which is why there is still hope AND all this abject frustration. Imagine if we had just a slight uptick in any offensive category? We could easily be sitting at 500 right now with only a handful of hits. Gotta love baseball.
  13. Got to host Blake Beavan at work, fantastic guy, but I'm glad the Sox got to him of course! Wish him all the best against everyone else...
