QUOTE (raBBit @ Dec 9, 2015 -> 12:46 AM)
Let's talk about the trade instead of the parameters of who Chilihead roots for.
Who do you guys think is in the return? I know the Sox have been talking on this for weeks and supposedly Oakland wanted EJ so as long as he's not involved you have to think the Sox got what they want.
I would say OF and P prospect. I don't know a whole lot about our prospects except the more well known ones so I would say Hawkins and a lower level Pitcher

One last comment on him as a person.....
When Lawrie first heard he was going to be added to the "40"-man roster.
Can you please make a thread of your most embarrassing pictures? lol
QUOTE (raBBit @ Dec 9, 2015 -> 12:25 AM)
I've been told Sox unwilling to trade E Johnson for him. We'll see if they budged. Susan Sluseer told me it's unclear if names have been agreed upon but the return will be two minor leaguers.
Answer me on Twitter you jerk!
QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Dec 9, 2015 -> 12:18 AM)
Susan Slusser is Oakland's beat writer. He has only been in Oakland for 2015. Clearly he hasn't grown up.
You still have no clue what happened for him to do that. And who really cares? It is twitter, he could block every White Sox beat writer and me for all I care
QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Dec 9, 2015 -> 12:10 AM)
So stuff that's probably been at least 3 or more years ago?
Exactly. People mature when they get older especially when they have good role models in the locker room. Of course he thinks he is the s*** in the minor leagues
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 9, 2015 -> 12:05 AM)
He's 26 but he's not good so I just don't care about his age. Yes, he's better than what we have so if we didn't give up a lot for him then I'd be ok with it but I don't want to give up anything people are mentioning here besides Avi and I'm not anti trading prospects at all.
The point about his age is he still has a chance to get better then what he has been.
QUOTE (Heads22 @ Dec 9, 2015 -> 12:03 AM)
I see is dealing a Montas type, fwiw
Yeah I think one of Danish, Montas, or Johnson would be dealt to the A's
QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Dec 9, 2015 -> 12:00 AM)
But seriously....is there anyone here who would feel comfortable rooting for this slimeball?
If he produces, helps us win, and doesn't hit women/kids, or kill people I am good
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 8, 2015 -> 11:56 PM)
Really don't care that Lawrie is under control for a while cause he's just not that good. Not going to get myself worked up over this yet but not a fan of the idea.
He is 26 and better then any other option we currently have, right?
QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Dec 8, 2015 -> 11:51 PM)
Yeah I just don't see why they would want Avi unless they planned on dealing Reddick.
Coco Crisp is their LF, right?
QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Dec 8, 2015 -> 11:47 PM)
I hope that big league source is a dirty liar.
Why do I have a sinking feeling that we will be seeing a Lawrie for Adams swap? or Lawrie for Danish and Trey?
Because it will happen or Erik Johnson.
I am now worried
QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ Dec 8, 2015 -> 11:37 PM)
Well last year's excitement translated to.....
3 more wins. But having basically the same team isn't going to do anything either. I know not everything needs to happen at the Winter Meetings so in reality it isn't a big deal if we don't make a move in the next day or so
QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Dec 8, 2015 -> 10:11 PM)
Something has to go down tonight. It's been way too quiet on the Sox front.
It isn't San Diego like last year where a bunch when down late. I hope I am wrong
Texas is not “shopping” Fielder, GM Jon Daniels says, as Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram (Twitter links). And a source tells Wilson that the club hasn’t had “any conversations” regarding the veteran slugger.
