another pop up for Alexei
-
How are we not killing this guy
-
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 20, 2014 -> 08:37 PM) Beckham with the perfect example of everything wrong with this offense the last two nights. Slow breaking ball, and he pops it up to the pull side. We have had a lot of pop ups lately.. 90 MPH fastball right down the middle and we pop it up (Alexei tonight). Just doesn't make sense

QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jun 20, 2014 -> 08:30 PM) not with Rienzo pitching. We have Rienzo and Noesi back to back in the rotation? That needs to change...
-
QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ Jun 20, 2014 -> 08:18 PM) Ya it sucks but this year was a wash anyways Yet we are still only 4.5 games out of first.. I would rather try and win and focus on what we can do to win more
-
So is Surkamp the next guy up?? When does he get his chance
-
Noesi has nothing..
-
Can't go much farther with 2 bums in our rotation
-
QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 20, 2014 -> 08:04 PM) Easy to see spring training under RV is a country club. Defense has been as bad under his watch as any manager in recent history. Didn't we have a great year defensively during his first year as manager?
-
This team's fundamentals are horrible.... I have a feeling the offense is just going to shut down now..
-
Are we done with Noesi and Rienzo yet
-
Flowers is so bad.
-
Jose!
-
I love when Beckham hits the ball.

QUOTE (Tmar @ Jun 20, 2014 -> 06:48 PM) Who's pitching tonight Is that your thing? Asking dumb questions?? Or are you being serious? I never can tell

QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jun 20, 2014 -> 06:22 PM) Where do you go to school? I'm at Concordia Chicago with about a year and a half left. If I had my choice, I would love to move to the Chicago area. So I am really trying to find a job here after school than making San Diego my second option. Yeah the cost of living is pretty high there, but I am really hesitant on moving but my girlfriend is all set on moving. So I gave in but I get to choose where we live. I'd rather live in San Diego than a suburb of San Diego. I'm already in the suburbs here, and with the possibility of moving out to California, I'm thinking mind as well go big. Plus, the weather is great year round so walking is a possibility all the time. I go to Southeast Missouri State.. As part of our program the final think we do is an internship worth 12 credits that I will be doing somewhere next summer. I will probably end up interning at one of the local independent teams in the St. Louis area but I will certainly apply to the White Sox, other major league teams, and minor league teams..

No thread yet?? Time for a LONG 10 game winning streak!! Can't lose to these bums again

QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jun 20, 2014 -> 05:00 PM) I prefer a yuppie. Haven't applied to any jobs yet. I'm still currently in school, but me and my girlfriend are deciding on what to do with our lives after graduation. I'm a Sport Management major so I would love to get into professional baseball somehow as a scout or front office (GM is my dream job). But I realize thats not realistic out of college. I would love to coach also high school (as I already have experience) or college baseball. Yeah it was great, I was there for a week couple years ago for a Dairy Queen convention. Hey, I am also currently a sport management major. Only a year left.. We are hoping to be able to move in the Chicago area eventually.. I kind of figured I would have to start working with an independent league team or minor league team before being able to get into a front office of an MLB team which is also my dream as well..

And now this had turned into a Viciedo thread.....

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jun 20, 2014 -> 12:47 PM) AZL roster has the pitchers filled in so far. A couple new names on there so far: --RHP Lucas Shearrow as NDFA, from Rockford, has a pretty funny LinkedIn page if you want to see it. Pitched for SEMO, some JuCo ball, had TJS. --RHP Tanner Mendonca, 17th rd pick by MIN last year. Pitched in rookie ball for them, had massive control issues. Also at least some DSL guys on there already: Victor Done, Luis Martinez, Yelmison Peralta. Shearrow should be strictly a bullpen guy.. I was unimpressed by him when he was asked to start early in the year last year at SEMO. But when he was moved to the bullpen he went on a really good run.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 19, 2014 -> 11:58 PM) 0-10, 7 K for Dunn vs Perkins Exactly. Robin left two guys who hardly can hit lefties up that inning.. Dunn defiantly should have been told to sit down

Paul Konerko hurt?
-
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 19, 2014 -> 11:47 PM) Morales 0 for this last 16 Why do we have Scott Downs on the roster again? Morales is a switch hitter. Not sure it really matters but Petricka should have been taken out already. How many pitches did he throw yesterday?
-
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jun 19, 2014 -> 11:45 PM) I've been in minny all week. This is the driest it's been Just in time to lose against this s***ty team
-
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 19, 2014 -> 11:42 PM) Petricka's bad WHIP catching up to him. His secondary pitches aren't good. Also doesn't help he is the most overused guy in the bullpen who began the year in AAA..
