AV in RF hurts less than Burger at 3rd IMO, not that either are good. Just seems like there is more opportunity to make mistakes for Burger. Eloy *should* only DH if and when he returns, but we know he'll still play LF and simultaneously be awful and an injury risk to himself and others.

Normally I would agree, but I’m not sure Mendick makes the plays Harrison did last night. I’ve been calling for his DFA for a long time but he showed me something last night. In order to fit the best bats in the lineup a poor defender will have to be in the field somewhere. There’s no perfect arrangement right now.

If he wants to build innings starting games in the minors, go for it. But spot starting in the Bigs between pen outings really isn’t going to build up the required innings. Not to mention how poorly TLR would manage that.
