The White Sox would never have considered trading him in the years prior to his injury plagued seasons, nor would any team. There is no argument to be had here. Dear lord...I would do Midway personally and would probably stay at a hotel in River North / Streeterville or in the Loop if you are doing touristy things. Sox Park is super easy to get to by L (Green or Red lines) from downtown and has some decent pre/post food & drink options. South Loop and Chinatown are also a super close Uber/Lyft ride or a few stops north on the Red Line for food/drinks after.
