I wouldn’t call demoting Yermin or giving Sheets a shot an overreaction. The offense has been struggling for longer than this brutal 4 game stretch. Something needs to be done to shake it up.

Wouldn’t shock me, but I’d much prefer a proven bat.

I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that the Astros are still up to something. But it seems way more likely that a few Sox pitchers are missing the grip they’ve enjoyed to this point, and the Sox ran into a red hot Astros team at the wrong time. Offense and defense have been just as bad as the pitching this series.
