Between Flores/Lambert, I have more faith in the latter for this reason.

Pillar used the slur in May of 2017 and got traded a couple of weeks ago. There is no correlation

I agree, and I'll add that it's not even 1950s sportsmanship. It stems back to the mid-late 19th century, before the White Sox even existed. The unwritten rules were originally put in place to prevent African-Americans and women from being able to "tarnish" the game. They're even more inherently racist/sexist than most would assume.

moncada

Could very well be the case. Just pointing out that .125 is comically low, even for this sample size, unless he's hitting weak choppers every AB

Blake Rutherford has a BABIP of .125. Obviously I don't know about the quality of his contact but I have to assume he's about to experience some serious positive regression

Booker to AAA makes more sense

It's April 21st. Eloy's rookie year is not over last I checked

Not yet. He needs some time at AAA.

Not too far off. Add an earned run and subtract the 2 walks.

8 K's and 2 ER thru 6, not bad results

Moncada looks just as good as a RHH as he does a LHH. I'm so over the lower lineup position based on the pitcher's handedness. He's good, give him the PAs.

Nice jinx

Nice to see Lopez at 96 early

It's a RHP/LHP thing, but I've never liked it. Moncada should always be hitting somewhere 1-4 this year.

The reaction on this board is disproportionate to what I've seen online. Tim Anderson has been making a name for himself of a national scale in an overwhelmingly positive way. Both baseball fans and non-baseball fans adore him right now.

Lopez makes the scheduled start (Santana gets skipped), Norris gets pushed back due to the postponement

Luis Robert RBI single

TA7

I like the ideas but wouldn't Julio Rodriguez be untouchable, especially for someone like Nova? I think Seattle thinks very highly of him
