  1. I remember when we were all joking about this but with Kopech, and then it actually happened. Of course, it was for another reason, but still...
  2. He is. Finally seeing Robert
  3. Yeah it looks more fluid but also is substantially worse. Doesn't give the right notifications, the gameday feeds are just a link to a shitty site, etc.
  4. Because they're bringing up a reliever just for tomorrow given how taxed the bullpen is after this weekend. Just my guess.
  5. Anderson leads baseball in wRC+
  6. Yeah, this lineup is better than the last one almost solely due to the absences of Palka and Yolmer
  7. They were certainly understaffed yesterday, but they're also understaffed on days where they should be expecting higher attendance so I'm not ready to give them the benefit of the doubt

There are some guys like Lambert, Pilkington, and Steiver who *could* be something, but I don't like them as much as I like our middle infield guys, which is the other hole in the system according to most

Joel Booker sees a major cut in ABs, I guess. Basabe's return from injury will complicate things.

Yes. There's a lot of talk about the lack of infield depth but I am very intrigued by the high ceilings of Sosa, Bush, Curbelo, and Nunez. Obviously Madrigal as well but he's the one that gets praise. SP depth is really my only issue with our farm.
  11. How did you end up switching from Tigers to Sox?

I've been thinking this myself lately. I think he can be Juan Soto'd. He's that good
  13. I agree with every word of this. Based on raw power and plate discipline alone, Collins will have value in MLB even if he's just a 1B/DH.
  14. Steele Walker RBI triple.
  15. Now you look at threads like these while (all SSS) Rodon and Giolito are looking good, Moncada is blossoming, Collins and Robert have 2 home runs each in their debuts, and things don't seem so bad
  16. This needs to be a recurring joke in all the postgame threads this year
  17. I think @ptatc was just joking around anyway, at the idea that the then 7-1 Mariners could somehow positively regress.
  18. MLB leader in walks!
  19. It was awesome watching him bat twice with the bases loaded, getting 2 strikes on him both times, and still expecting him to do something amazing. And of course, he came through.
  20. If both healthy, Eloy and I don't think it will be very close. I don't see Moncada hitting any more than 25 or so this year while I think Eloy can get hot a few times and rattle off a bunch in a week's time. leaving him in the mid 30s
