Jose Abreu

Such a Boras plant. He knows there are only 2-3 teams on Harper now (depending on how you view the Giants) so he needed this out there.

But it was a damn good post

And the guy who plays Abed in that show is a White Sox fan in real life. We've come full circle. Machado confirmed.

It's really hard to have a high OBP when you don't take walks

You should freak out about the fact that you're not freaking out.

You know Soxtalk is losing its collective mind when a Bob Nightengale tweet is taken as gospel

So the real offer is 8/240, and Lozano wants people to believe that it’s 8/280. Thanks Bob

This reminds me of the people who argue that the Bears lost the Mack trade because it ruined their cap space

Phils, Sox, and Padres are my guess for his long-term offers

The Nightengale kiss of death.

Negative

Yeah, especially the Yankees one. These are last minute desperation shots to me.

Yoan has been taking grounders at 3rd since August/September

Very interesting indeed. It's almost as if the Sox want it this way.

The rage is already here and that situation probably hasn't even happened.

Just think of it this way- does anyone really believe that the Sox would have had multiple meetings with Harper, laying a lot of groundwork, etc. just to sit back and not make an offer on him as the bidding is reaching its final stages?

Didn’t Dunning just have the one issue? Whereas Hansen had multiple, plus setbacks?

It’s a fake rumor from the same MLB Insider account that reported Machado to the White Sox last week

another Boston account too

The Patriots insider guy is back

Where does the other 1/10 come from? 1/2 chance at a son and 1/10 chance at him being a lefty coming out to 1 in 20, no?

Then I don't know why he's supposedly signing with the 3rd place Phillies who might not even finish better than 4th in that division.
