Have any congressional representatives confirmed? Or supreme court justices? If not, then I don't buy it

He's really good but the bullpen is the least of my concerns right now

According to Ruth Bader Ginsburg, #WhiteSox have signed both Manny Machado and Bryce Harper.

Adam Bennett Schiff is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for California's 28th congressional district since 2013. A member of the Democratic Party, Schiff has served in Congress since 2001.

The Hahn presser is routine and happens every year on Day 1 of Spring Training. That’s why I’m losing faith in Hector, who seems to be implying that he’s gonna drop some news during it. I’m sure it’ll be typical Hahnspeak that will make 50% of the board extremely pessimistic and 50% of the board extremely optimistic.

Carson Fulmer?

Given where the rest of our roster will be with arbitration, and that the whales probably won't both be here for the 8 or whatever years, it isn't as risky as it sounds

Good to know that this will be the agenda for the next 3-8 years.

Thank you for at least being an improvement over the "get ready... just get ready" guy

Well I stand corrected, but am still skeptical

Reading his replies, he seems to be "hearing" it from the glove tweet and the GRF security for tomorrow (which is for the fan contest)

There will be 100-400 (depending on how many guests they bring) random fans in the stadium tomorrow. They definitely would need security for it.

It's not a real account bro

Oh great, it’s that account again!

I've thought this myself lately, but if that were the case, I feel like somebody (whether it's Rosenthal, Passan, or raBBit/WSD) would know by now

There is a lot of good intel in that article. I would suggest that anyone who hasn't read it take the time to do so.

I really don't think so.

But do you really think they'd actually produce 5 or so black and white custom Machado gloves just for a troll job? That would be pretty expensive.

Machado wouldn't have ordered black and white gloves if he wasn't playing for a team whose primary colors are black and white. The optimist in me is assuming we're just working out final details now and then moving onto other moves

Not for long, though!

I know this was posted in the Machado thread but I think it's worth sharing here too. Offers some interesting perspective on our pursuit of Harper and is relevant to many of the new posts in this thread.

A trusted reporter saying that Manny will sign in the next few days is far more of a timeline than anything else we've gotten this offseason

Especially since Hector just gave us an actual timeline
