  1. LHP, minor league career stats of 14 K/9 and 0.0 HR/9, but hasn't pitched in 3 years due to multiple TJ surgeries
  2. Exactly- if this were a Yankees or Red Sox guy talking down about us, it would still be douchey but at least make sense. A Dodgers reporter doing it is laughable.
  3. It usually means that they just want attention
  4. The self-loathing is funny, because I sure as hell wouldn't trade 2005 for the Dodgers' past few decades
  5. Does somebody want to tell him that the White Sox have more rings in the past 30 years than his Dodgers?
  6. Yes but apparently he still flew private, apparently O’Hare has an area for that
  7. Either way I’m pretty sure he only travels via private jet
  8. True. It's Dixon Machado, Marlins SS.
  9. I don't think the tweet is true but just because the guy seems to be from Baltimore doesn't mean he's flying from Baltimore
  10. Translation: Boras wants us to up our offer
  11. An offer without opt-outs is hardly an offer
  12. He's a Red Sox fan so I doubt he cares much, but I agree that it's probably nothing
  13. Very likely fake but he does at least live in Charlotte
  14. Not sure if the Nats have completely moved on but absolutely agree that this is a Boras planted leak.
  15. Whether it's 10/300 or 10/350, the fact remains that there are no opt-outs (unless the whole report is wrong) which makes it a token offer at best
  16. Not just the tweet but his posts in this thread were encouraging too
  17. The WSD and Bilek stuff was way better anyway. As usual they got glossed over and the more substantial but lesser quality report got discussed more
  18. If anyone really believes Dan Clark over WSD and Rabbit then I don't know why they're even Sox fans
  19. In case anyone is just refreshing this thread, Rabbit also tweeted about Harper and the info was very similar to what Bucket posted earlier. Seems like things are beginning to move quickly
  20. Very similar to what Bucket said. Which is a good thing for us
  21. While we're at it, I think Eloy should be hitting in front of Abreu. Moncada-Harper-Machado-Eloy-Abreu-whatever is my vote. Either way, I'm optimistic about landing one of the two but I think the chances we get both are <1%.
  22. I'm gonna try to summarize today's rumors, both for my sanity and for those who are catching up: -A respected Dodgers reporter said that he heard from a friend of Machado that he is considering signing with the White Sox -Bucket re-appeared and said that the Sox feel really good about their chances with Harper and that the Cubs aren't a threat -Nightengale reported that the Sox have offered Machado a contract and are still in contact with Harper -WhiteSoxDave reported that the Sox chances with Machado are "good", "great", and "fantastic" between 2 blog posts and predicted that he signs with us within the next 5 days Did I miss anything significant?
  23. WhiteSoxDave just doubled down https://www.barstoolsports.com/chicago/breaking-down-bruce-levines-sox-will-not-go-over-7-years-on-harpermachado-tweet
