Jose Abreu

Most of them are 11-14 years old. There’s this really weird segment of 11-14 year old girls on Twitter that obsess over certain actresses and singers. This was their doing

Nothing too bad, relative to Hader and Allen and whomever. He used a gay slur a few times when he was in college and since deleted them

Yeah he was the main guy. Fry was the other, who has also since been exposed on a smaller scale. There aren't any more major ones to my knowledge

These tweets have been well known among Sox fans on Twitter since December of 2016, for what it's worth

They wouldn't have him sit around at home for 3 weeks only to call him up and throw him in cold against MLB pitching in mid-late September.

No, I based it on his profile, track record, repertoire, etc.

Not as much as the Twins organization loves him. I can see them signing him back. Also, that would really be waving the white flag on elite FAs given that 3B is the most logical spot we'd have to fill. I don't see us needing a FA outfielder or reliever.

Burr looks solid. I think he can have a long career as an average-slightly above average reliever. A Shawn Kelley kind of career.

Interesting, didn't know that. I guess I can't put myself in his shoes but I feel like he could still be a quality starter for a few seasons

Why would he retire at 35 coming off a career year?

Jose Rondon is intriguing. That kind of power from a shortstop is rare

The opposite actually, in a lot of cases

Pretty cool that we got this guy for money we couldn't use, and now he might even be a major bullpen piece when we're good

Buur and Vieira are pretty rested. Maybe we won't need Vieira though.

4-5 for Eloy

Castellanos is the new Raburn. Except he's actually good

If anyone needs a day off it's him. LaMarre or Palka can spell him in RF.

I know Ricky isn't there, but Yolmer's lack of hustle right there was the most blatant of all year, yet he's still in the game.

He seems to do something like that every game

Eloy 3-4

I'd be jumping for joy if he agreed to that which tells me it won't happen. Eloy is different from TA/Eaton and so on, I'd imagine that even with 0 MLB ABs, he'd need a lot more money than that. If he's anything like what we expect him to be, he would get more than $40 mil alone in his arb years.

In what way?

I believe he's eligible to return tomorrow. So this makes sense. We'll see him in a week

This is one of my favorite sports photos ever, for so many reasons.
