Not as much as the Twins organization loves him. I can see them signing him back. Also, that would really be waving the white flag on elite FAs given that 3B is the most logical spot we'd have to fill. I don't see us needing a FA outfielder or reliever.

Burr looks solid. I think he can have a long career as an average-slightly above average reliever. A Shawn Kelley kind of career.

I'd be jumping for joy if he agreed to that which tells me it won't happen. Eloy is different from TA/Eaton and so on, I'd imagine that even with 0 MLB ABs, he'd need a lot more money than that. If he's anything like what we expect him to be, he would get more than $40 mil alone in his arb years.

In the increasingly unlikely event that he's called up before mid-April of next year, I really don't think I'll care about the extra year. While I would disagree with the decision deep down, I also know I would just be way too excited to see him play to care.
