Jose Abreu

Haha, not only that, but anyone who tries to declare a trade "won" or "lost" two years after it happened, when most of the people involved in the trade are still in the minor leagues, shouldn't be taken seriously anyway

Pretty much all of his 2018 injuries have sounded like fluke injuries honestly

I don't like this logic. I understand protecting the plate but it's hard to teach a guy with a good eye to swing at balls just because umpires may mess up

Ending games in ties is also not baseball

Yeah, it's the 13th inning, so let's use a guy for one batter and then pull him

I think the price on Suarez, given his contract, would be outrageous. Like, Luis Robert and Dylan Cease +++ kind of outrageous. Senzel and India, I can see, though

While I agree with the sentiment, he checked his swing on the 2-1 fastball because it was a ball, and it was called a strike

*Says all biases aside* *Makes a biased argument*

Why not Ruiz? Is he more like a 6th/7th inning guy?

He was already on the DL, so "Luis Robert to DL" wouldn't make any sense.

Avi Garcia

So are you saying demote one, trade one, or something else?

He's back.

I don't know if you're allowed to say that, a good portion of the board thinks Abreu is bad

Hey, we agree on something! Miracles do happen

Wow, the first ever non-human to win player of the week. A true feat

The sad(-ish) face and the checked box emoji in the caption

Someone doesn't seem too happy. And Eloy liked this too

By the way, we're the home team (thread title)

Yes, that was indeed him

Not really. Eloy can’t play center field and we needed a center fielder. If he’s not up this weekend then I’ll agree.
