  1. QUOTE (Thad Bosley @ Jul 10, 2016 -> 03:03 PM) The high profile exposure of being an All Star certainly couldn't hurt his trade value at the end of the month. The Sox aren't trading Quintana in the middle of a playoff race
  2. Very good points. Never understood the Robertson hate
  3. I still really like the Saladino 3B, Frazier 1B, Abreu DH lineup but we rarely use it
  4. Dan HayesVerified account ‏@CSNHayes Still might be nothing, but Robin Ventura stopped by to talk to David Robertson for a minute or two in postgame last night.
  5. Damn Abreu has bailed Frazier out often lately with good scoops
  6. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Jul 9, 2016 -> 03:55 PM) DR is quickly becoming one of my most unliked guys on the team. He's being paid like a very good closer and he's performing like an average one, and now this? Now this? What do you mean now this? We have no idea why he's not pitching.

  8. White Sox twitter tweets agreement of plans to TP Yost's house: https://twitter.com/whitesox/status/751874660283842560
  9. No idea as to why Robertson would be unavailable. Hasn't pitched since Wednesday
  10. QUOTE (StrykerSox @ Jul 9, 2016 -> 03:27 PM) See my last post. Sanchez deserves it. He's had three crappy starts all year (none as bad as Sale yesterday), one against TEX and another against BAL. Other than that, total dominance. By that logic, Quintana deserves it. He's had TWO, not three, crappy starts all year, one against BOS and another against DET.
  11. Aaron Sanchez got the replacement call.
  12. NL replacements have been announced.... still no word on the Davis/Kimbrel swaps
  13. First time two Colombian born starters will start against one another
  14. QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Jul 9, 2016 -> 11:35 AM) That's why he hasn't been moved yet. But if Boston comes calling with Moncada, Benintendi, Devers. They better consider it. Trading Q only may actually be beneficial if we could get a small haul and acquire another starter like a Hellickson to take his spot. I just really want Anderson and Moncada to be my SS 2B combo. No, he hasn't been moved because we're not selling.
  15. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 9, 2016 -> 11:26 AM) Surely Kendrys Morales and Paulo Orlando will take their places because Ned Yost QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jul 9, 2016 -> 11:33 AM) Jose Quintana does not actually exist outside of Soxtalk. So nope, Q will never be on the allstar team. Lmao, in all honesty the replacements could be Rich Hill and Aaron Sanchez, or some random middle reliever, so maybe he really won't make it. Shouldn't the announcement be today?
  16. So we're still waiting for word on replacements for both Davis and Kimbrel... one of them has to be Quintana, no?
  17. "Rodon sprained his wrist slipping on the dugout steps coming out for the anthem prior to Friday's game"
  18. Wondering when they'll announce an injury replacement for Davis.
  19. QUOTE (chisoxfan310 @ Jul 7, 2016 -> 07:06 PM) How'd Abreu do the second half of 2014 compared to the first half when he chose not to participate? Most on here were glad he didn't do the derby in fear it would hurt him in the second half. If he had participated, everyone would have pointed at the derby as the reason why he wasn't hitting the same. Could be other factors we just don't know. Abreu was .972/.948.
  20. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 7, 2016 -> 03:55 PM) Rodon literally will lose an entire side of the plate, hitters know it because its easy to scout. Once you cut down strikes on one side its easy to hit. What do you mean? His command, getting squeezed, or something else?
  21. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 7, 2016 -> 02:00 PM) I always get torn about his home/road splits. I've read breakdowns about how it can take a couple games to adjust from Coors Field to a regular elevation, so there is an even larger difference in their home/away splits. Matt Holliday was fine outside of Coors. Corey Dickerson...not so much Troy Tulowitzki is another example, he has been poor offensively.
