QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 14, 2016 -> 03:09 PM) Real nice off speed pitch, had him way out in front. When his knuckle-curve is on, it is pretty great.- 4/14 Game thread: Minnesota, 12:10pm, CSN/WLS
I like the way we're pitching, but I hope our offense heats up a bit. 3 runs every game won't cut it with guys like Danks on the mound, or Sale/Q/Rodon on a bad day- 4/14 Game thread: Minnesota, 12:10pm, CSN/WLS
QUOTE (aryzner @ Apr 14, 2016 -> 03:07 PM) Jackson in center, Eaton in right. Good on you, Robin. I can't complain about that. agreed- 4/14 Game thread: Minnesota, 12:10pm, CSN/WLS
I'd rather have batted Jackson and kept him in, but at least he subbed out the lefty.- 4/14 Game thread: Minnesota, 12:10pm, CSN/WLS
Saladino = good- 4/14 Game thread: Minnesota, 12:10pm, CSN/WLS
Or Sands. The problem with him is that his defense absolutely bites. That could be an issue in a high-leverage situation, like the 9th inning- 4/14 Game thread: Minnesota, 12:10pm, CSN/WLS
If they bring a lefty for Shuck, we should counter with Austin Jackson- 4/14 Game thread: Minnesota, 12:10pm, CSN/WLS
3 outs from a sweep!- 4/14 Game thread: Minnesota, 12:10pm, CSN/WLS
QUOTE (sin city sox fan @ Apr 14, 2016 -> 02:49 PM) Flowers batting average is .137 better than Navarro and he's better defensively. It would clearly be an upgrade for us. It's 4/14 and you care about Navarro's BA thru 16 PA's- plus a low BABIP due to bad luck? Ok buddy- 4/14 Game thread: Minnesota, 12:10pm, CSN/WLS
good, Duke- 4/14 Game thread: Minnesota, 12:10pm, CSN/WLS
His FIP must be low- 4/14 Game thread: Minnesota, 12:10pm, CSN/WLS
sweet- 4/14 Game thread: Minnesota, 12:10pm, CSN/WLS
Dan Hayes @CSNHayes 22s23 seconds ago Byron Buxton stayed in after the HBP and stole a base. But he is now out of the game with Max Kepler replacing him in CF.- 4/14 Game thread: Minnesota, 12:10pm, CSN/WLS
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 14, 2016 -> 01:03 PM) Class act by Navarro to make sure Buxton was OK. But it got him on the wrist. deflected and then hit him on the ear as well- 4/14 Game thread: Minnesota, 12:10pm, CSN/WLS
Alright Frazier, break out of this slump- 4/14 Game thread: Minnesota, 12:10pm, CSN/WLS
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 14, 2016 -> 12:53 PM) Pierre was pretty done for by the time he got here. Yeah, but he wasn't bad. I'd consider him to be a "true lead-off hitter"- 4/14 Game thread: Minnesota, 12:10pm, CSN/WLS
QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Apr 14, 2016 -> 12:52 PM) Eaton is the man right now. First true lead off hitter Sox have had in forwever. Pierre/Podsednik were pretty recent- 4/14 Game thread: Minnesota, 12:10pm, CSN/WLS
Eaton's on quite the roll this April. Exact opposite of last year- 4/14 Game thread: Minnesota, 12:10pm, CSN/WLS
What's Latos' pitch count- 4/14 Game thread: Minnesota, 12:10pm, CSN/WLS
Nice work from Saladino and Latos- 4/14 Game thread: Minnesota, 12:10pm, CSN/WLS
he gone- Misc. Sox Quotes & Tweets
On 7/31/2008, the Sox played the Twins in MN. Gardenhire got ejected which prompted Twins fans to litter the field with hats, beer bottles, baseballs, foam footballs, etc. Guillen pulled the Sox off the field, as this was happening during an inning. Can anyone find the video of this? It was 2008, so it shouldn't be as hard to find as it is for me. I found one video on YouTube, but it was taken by a fan at the game with like, 240p quality and horrible camerawork. - 4/14 Game thread: Minnesota, 12:10pm, CSN/WLS
