  1. Whether or not we win this game, score here, etc., it is annoying that our pitchers still have to throw a shutout or allow 1-2 runs to win
  2. Well, Melky has been good lately so hopefully we get the insurance here
  3. good battle so far for Abreu
  4. good piece of hitting by Rollins
  5. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 09:36 PM) He was pissed a few years ago on blown call with PK inside base line I remember that. I just found this though, which is what I meant. Thanks
  6. Albers/Jones/Robertson has been a damn good combo.
  7. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 09:34 PM) Think it was coming out anyways Perhaps, but impossible to know for sure
  8. QUOTE (Scoots @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 09:34 PM) Sciocia not a happy camper Didn't he and Robertson have beef last year?
  9. QUOTE (Scoots @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 09:32 PM) Seriously...did they not learn from Steve Bartman? Seriously...I hope all those guys are ashamed of themselves for trying to catch it. Melky should have held onto it though Kinda hard to catch a ball when someone's hand is on your glove
  10. His glove definitely hit the fan's wrist/phone. Not Melky's fault
  11. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 09:30 PM) Wow f*** that guy who interfered with the play. Bartman, is that you?
  12. His glove hit the fan's wrist
  13. QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 09:27 PM) Does anyone know if Sanchez or Saladino can play the outfield? I remember reading that Saladino can play CF. How well can he do so is up for debate.
  14. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 09:27 PM) Team needs offense, not a defensive specialist in Sanchez I know, which is why we'd try to get someone via trade for DH.
  15. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 09:23 PM) I want him getting ABs In Charlotte. Bring up Sanchez or Coats. I'd bring Sanchez to complement Saladino and then look to the trade market for someone to play DH.

Dan Hayes ‏@CSNHayes 1m1 minute ago Matt Albers' scoreless streak of 30 innings is the longest by a #WhiteSox pitcher since Wilson Alvarez had 31 in 1993. He can thank Adam Eaton!

  18. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 09:11 PM) Still can't believe there's people on Soxtalk who question Eatons arm. There's a reason nobody runs on him. I agree, but I think the common gripe has more to do with him sometimes taking lots of time to transfer or get the ball out of his possession.
  19. Latos with the fresh 0.49 ERA
  20. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 18, 2016 -> 10:28 PM) Sands has no options. then we can DFA him. Having both him and Avi is redundant.
  21. hope he's back soon, we need a LH bat on the bench.
  22. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Apr 18, 2016 -> 08:56 PM) LaRoche gonna be on Good Morning America tomorrow lol Just when you thought it was over!
  23. We can't have our bullpen eating up this many innings without any days off. We need a long man such as Turner, Carroll, Gonzalez, I don't care. Somebody. I think we should make room for it by sending Sands down. There really isn't a need for 5 outfielders. That's the beauty of not having a true DH, it's easy to give the position players rest.
  24. QUOTE (BrianAnderson @ Apr 18, 2016 -> 11:54 AM) I think the point to be made here is that we've played the A's and Twins for 7 of our 12 games. Those two teams will be at the bottom of the AL. But this isn't football/basketball. The Sox, at least since I've been a fan, have been pretty bad against bad teams. They tend to play to the level of their competition. It is nice to see us beating up on the bad teams. It's not anything but a good sign. As for my football/basketball comment, it's not like the supposedly "better" team is supposed to win every game against the worse team. It is very common for the "better team" to split a series, lose 2/3, etc. vs a worse team, whereas in football/basketball, it is a bigger deal if, say, the Bears beat the Packers (2015), the 76ers beat the Warriors (almost happened!), etc.
  25. QUOTE (3GamesToLove @ Apr 18, 2016 -> 09:18 AM) It's amazing that the Sox have Eaton and Quintana, who are basically Heyward and Lester, for about 15% of the salary. I wouldn't say Eaton is basically Heyward defensively yet, but I see your point.
