  1. Gotta love those nasty, 92 MPH sliders from Jones. Half of our guys can't even throw a fastball that hard.
  2. Dan Hayes ‏@CSNHayes 2m2 minutes ago Over his last six starts, including one in which he allowed six earned runs, John Danks has a 2.75 ERA in 36 IP.
  3. Win tonight and we're 54-58, 4.5 GB of WC2 with 4 more against LAA next week
  4. Like I said, having Jones as our SU guy makes this bullpen look so much better.
  5. Please take him out before Trout/Pujols...
  6. Meet your future White Sox catcher https://twitter.com/whitesox/status/631654625591074816
  7. QUOTE (bmags @ Aug 12, 2015 -> 09:08 PM) Grizzlies will continue to finish top 5 I can see them at 6. Don't get me wrong, they're good, but which of the 5 will they replace? GSW? Nope. SA? Doubt it. LAC? Possibly. HOU? Doubt it. OKC? Possibly. I think that with a healthy OKC and an improved Clippers team, the Grizzlies won't be top-five
  8. QUOTE (Boogua @ Aug 12, 2015 -> 09:02 PM) The west is just insane. Those top 5 teams would all be my favorite to come out of the east. Why do you have the Grizzlies getting so much worse? Also, Utah came on pretty strong late last year, but I guess they lost Exum. I can't see them only winning only 30 games though. Everything else looks pretty good though. Grizzlies have an aging core and made no big additions in the offseason, while most Western contenders did make good moves. I could see them slip into the 6 seed, though. Yeah, Utah isn't that bad, but without Exum and in an even more dangerous West, I can't see them winning more than 36-37 games. I originally had them at 33-49, but had to bump them down to 30 because I had too many wins in my standings.
  9. Having Nate Jones as our #2 reliever makes our pen so much better on paper.
  10. Surprised Giavotella is having a decent year. I don't recall him being good on the Royals
  11. You have a very nice sister lol
  12. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Aug 12, 2015 -> 08:19 PM) Craig Biggio is what? Top 5 all time in doubles? How many times do you remember him showboating after hitting one? Zero. Because he has too much RESPECT for the GAME. That's why he's in the hall of fame and Melky is a roided up clown. 1. Biggio isn't in the hall of fame because he didn't showboat 2. If you're gonna hate on Melky for showboating, then hate on our whole team, because they all do it.
  13. My Eastern Conference prediction that I posted on a Bulls forum: 1. Cleveland Cavaliers (65-17) 2. Chicago Bulls (56-26) 3. Miami Heat (50-32) 4. Washington Wizards (49-33) 5. Milwaukee Bucks (48-34) 6. Toronto Raptors (46-36) 7. Atlanta Hawks (44-38) 8. Orlando Magic (40-42) ------------ 9. Detroit Pistons (39-43) 10. Brooklyn Nets (37-45) 11. Boston Celtics (37-45) 12. Indiana Pacers (34-48) 13. Charlotte Hornets (33-49) 14. New York Knicks (29-53) 15. Philadelphia 76ers (21-61) ------------ 1. Cavaliers def 8. Magic 4-0 2. Bulls def 7. Hawks 4-2 3. Heat def 6. Raptors 4-1 5. Bucks def 4. Wizards 4-2 2. Bulls def 3. Heat 4-3 1. Cavaliers def 5. Bucks 4-1 1. Cavaliers def 2. Bulls 4-3 Cavs lose to Spurs 4-2 in Finals
  14. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Aug 12, 2015 -> 07:27 PM) Trout and Pujols have two of the most HGH faces ever. I agree. I doubt Pujols is on/was ever on anything, and I'm sure Trout isn't, though.
  15. All of our players do the stir the drink thing. I guess Melky adds his own little thing at the end.
  16. Our schedule is full of off-days. Many more than 14-15. That will certainly help Rose. I think that with his improvements and in the new system, he'll average 22/7/3 on 44% shooting, 35% from deep.
  17. Bulls schedule: http://i.cdn.turner.com/drp/nba/bulls/site...hedule_1516.pdf
  18. QUOTE (scs787 @ Aug 12, 2015 -> 05:14 PM) Allen, Houston, Acho, and Bass. I dint think you could consider any of them a starter at this point, so they fit the question. Willie Young as well. He's listed as a 3rd stringer despite being one of our best defensive players last year.
  19. Iwakuma no hitter
  20. New NHL 16 cover is just Toews.
  21. QUOTE (bmags @ Aug 12, 2015 -> 02:26 PM) Well, I have some bad news for you I know he's hurt, but they're apparently optimistic that he'll return before the regular season starts.
  22. QUOTE (bmags @ Aug 12, 2015 -> 12:21 PM) Sports Football fans: What non-starters/rookie players are you most excited to watch in preseason? Kevin White and Marquess Wilson
  23. QUOTE (bmags @ Aug 12, 2015 -> 12:23 PM) SSS had a nice post about how if Trayce can hit LHP and play a mean center, it's likely he'll find a spot on sox for a while. Eaton...
