Jose Abreu

He's replacing Michael Taylor at the MLB camp, right?

Quite the sudden retirement. I liked him, and I thought he had an outside shot at the 4th outfielder spot. Good luck to him.

Oops, I stand corrected. Sounds like a fun idea.

Interesting idea, but wouldn't people who just spam Abreu/LaRoche rather than vary their picks get more points? There should be some sort of "Abreu twice per week" limit.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Mar 9, 2015 -> 11:57 AM) Nate Jones is so far out of sight out of mind for me, the only time I really remember the guy is when i see his bad car commercial Didn't they call him "The Closer", but then when he wasn't the closer, they released an updated version of the ad and they just referred to him as "The Reliever" or something? Either way, it was an awkward and bad commercial.

$20 extra for a hard ticket? That's annoying.

But it reportedly will not affect his timetable

Sale has revealed that he also has a sprained ankle

I know it won't happen, but he has a nice mix of offensive and defensive skill, unlike Brooks (offense only) and Hinrich (neither at this point in his career).

Thibs should make a bold move and start Moore, who has excelled in the fairly limited playing time he's received this season.

QUOTE (staxx @ Mar 6, 2015 -> 01:21 PM) Petricka also has a good amount of potential to develop even further. Petricka had a rough end to the season, but I'd still take Putnam over him.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 27, 2015 -> 09:58 AM) Barring injury, I'd say that Perticka and Jennings are also locks. And I think our best reliever from last year deserves to be in our bullpen as well...

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Mar 5, 2015 -> 12:46 PM) When did I ever write that? Evaluating future performance based on these games is silly. That is what I wrote. We all know that players with good Spring Training performances carry it into the regular season.

I'll be able to watch the first inning live

QUOTE (Jake @ Mar 3, 2015 -> 09:05 PM) Why would there be any doubt about whetehr the lineup will start with Eaton-Cabrera? Because there isn't any doubt. It's just "we need real baseball so we need something to talk about" filler. Can't wait for tomorrow.
