My dream scenario for the Sox this month would be for us to win every game Sale and Quintana start and lose all the others. In those wins, Abreu hits like crazy and wins the triple crown.

I strongly disagree. 2011 was terrible, but when I found out what he was going through with his son that year, I didn't hate him as much. 2012-2014, he did exactly what we signed him to do- he got on base at a great rate, hit home runs, and got RBIs. He was not signed to hit .280 every year.

I hate the wide belief that on 0-2, you have to be safe and pitch way out of the zone. All it does is elevate your pitch count. If you're going to try to strike him out, then don't wait until you've thrown 2-3 balls in a row.
