Moncada actually dealing with a back issue.
The Mighty Mite replied to Greg Hibbard's topic in Pale Hose Talk
The question that begs to be answered is what is in Moncada’s makeup that he doesn’t want to play or seems like he doesn’t care. -
You can take that one to the bank.
-
The only solution I see is when Moncada comes back is to trade Eloy and let Jake and Sheets handle DH. Eloy hates DHing and you don’t want him in the outfield where he’s dangerous to himself and to teammates.

#1 is true. #2 is next to impossible.

Is it really that shameful to root for the Cubs?
The Mighty Mite replied to ron883's topic in The Diamond Club
I’ve been a Sox fan since 1952 and a lot of hate towards the Cubs and their fans has built up through the years. Funny thing though, a lot of the guys in my golf group know I’m a Sox fan but can’t stand anything Boston so last year when the Cubs played the Red Sox a guy from Beantown asked me who I was pulling for in that series, I had to pull for the Cubs. Any other AL or NL team including the 2016 World Series I will pull for the team that’s playing the Cubs. This is our 30th year living in Florida and I’ve become a big fan of the Rays and the Lightning except when the play the Sox and the Blackhawks. -

The Sox drew just over 2 million in 2022, 2,009,359 to be exact. -

The deal was made with Governor Thompson and Mayor Harold Washington, and it’s Daley not Daily. -
ONLY was the word that perplexed me.

Actually the Sox are second among all teams with 20 no hitters, Dodgers have the most at 26.

Right now he’s a small part of the problem, if the bullpen had done its job and held on to some leads where we might be 9-7, we would probably be calling him a genius. Injuries are still a problem and who would have thought we would be looking at AV and Eloy without a home run after 16 games. JR and Hahn are the biggest culprits in this mess.

I’ve never been a fan of the Gatorade dump, it’s stupid and I’m surprised there haven’t been more injuries.

Nothing has changed from last year when a KC pitcher said the White Sox were the easiest team to face in the league with horrible plate discipline as they will swing at anything and refuse to take a walk. Why aren’t the manager and hitting coach addressing this situation.
