  1. That entire album is great.
  2. Isn't Man-Cave-Itch one of those "heart and soul" guys from the Twins? Came up the system, was there when they sucked and was instrumental to them when they got good?
  3. there's a shocker, something actually good in the metal genre on your playlist
  4. This thread shall not die... Patton Oswalt - "Feelin' Kinda Patton" Pretty god damn funny. I wasn't a huge fan of his stand-up having not really seen much of it to begin with, but I did like him in King of Queens. So I saw one of his appearences on Conan, and he was killing me with this one joke. So on that one joke I bought the CD, hoping it was on there, and it was, along with many many many other funny ones. It's strange I actually think I was laughing harder than the people at the club where he recorded it. A little heads up for the prospective buyers, it's pretty blue so be warned if you don't like that kind of stuff.
  5. I'm very weary about going, especially with the Left Coast Curse, that and my hatred for the OC I guess If I do go I should get off my ass and buy some tickets.

    Rescue Me

Speaking of Family Guy, Seth McFarland is gonna be hosting Adult Swim this week and showing his favorite FG episodes. The little promo's they've run for him hosting have been hilarious.

    Rescue Me

RESCUE ME (FX) - A more than solid 4.1 million viewers watched the show's commercial-free launch on Wednesday, making its the second-best series opener in the cable channel's history ("The Shield's" 4.8 million viewer debut in 2002 being the best). "Rescue," along with the theatrical "Independence Day" (2.4 million overall, 1.4 million among adults 18-49), helped make FX the top cable draw on the night. More importantly, "Rescue" also fared well among adults 18-49 (2.0 national rating/6 share, 2.5 million viewers), the third best opening in basic cable history in the demographic, as well as men 18-34 (2.2/7) and men 18-49 (2.1/6). An encore at 11:00/10:00c pulled in 1.5 million viewers overall. It was all because of me
  8. Lidle always seemed to turn it on in the second half with the A's, what did he have a 20+ scoreless innings streak in 2002? I know that the Sox were on of those teams he shut down in that streak. I'd take him over Show.
  9. We can't get Guardado, he'll cheat and give up hits intentionally to his ex-Twins teammates!!!
  10. That is a great column. I heard an interview with them on Uranium after the album came out and their defense of the production and sound on that album is just f***ing pathetic...
  11. Where would Alomar play? Harris and Uribe are at second, unless one of them is in the trade. Rowand is in center, so you can't move harris out there. Where would Robbie fit in the scheme of things?
  12. Does Chris Young know about this?
  13. Good Interview, but during that first minute and a half Bon Jovi is overpowering BMac...
  14. Man that is a butt-load of nu-metal I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole

Mitch is the f***ing man. One of my favorite stand up comedians. All that material posted is from his album "Stratigic Grill Locations" he put out a new one is december call "Mitch All Together" (you should recognize that from the bits listed in the thread) It's even funnier than SGL.
  16. Pillar, that's some God rock right?
  17. It's always good to come back home My office is air-conditioned too, but I always have to go outside for one reason or another 5 or 6 times a day, and it's just unbearable.
  18. I'm dying here, and I have to walk home from work most days.

    Rescue Me

I thought it was great. After one episode I can already tell they have the mixture of comedy and drama down pat. The drama is out there and the humor shifts from quick and subtle to as blatent as the drama (i.e. When Denis Leary goes and looks through the new boyfriends car) It also had some pretty good lines like: "My balls are bigger than two of your heads duct taped together"
  22. There should be a FAQ thread about Carl and the Nickname so there is not 50 threads about it.
