First of it's Stewie, and they abandoned the whole "take over the world thing" around season 2, and it went to a kill lois plot, and even then that was a small part of the story, and toward the end of the run it was a a bunch of things that hinted that Stewie was gay. That was gonna be the plot of the Family Guy straight to DVD movie, but since the show is coming back I'm sure that will be in the new episodes.

I would hardly consider FG a lite Simpsons. They've talked about and showed some pretty racy s*** on FG compared to Simpsons. "Wish Upon a Wienstein" was banned from TV because of the jewish jokes

I love the non-sequitur style of Family Guy. I also love when gags are stretched out longer than they should be, that just kills me. Case in point in "Wasted Talent" when Peter trips running home with the Silver Scroll. And Stewie's letter to Brian when he runs away to England. But the thing that kills me most about the show is the delivery of the lines. Seth MacFarlane is just great at it. If you read some of the jokes on paper it wouldn't be funny, but the way he says them in whatever character he is, floors me. Some examples: The monkey's writing Shakespeare in "The King Is Dead" Brain singing "Money, Money Money" drunk off his ass God getting a call from Karen Brian's stoned/f***ed up laugh There's a bunch of others I can't think of right now...

What Family Guy are you watching where they swear all the time? Unless you consider friggin, damn, and hell swear words. I actually think that the show got funnier after the first season, some of the last episodes were f***ing brilliant.

Family Guy is coming back presumably on FOX in Late '04 early '05. It will be the first show ever to brought back on TV after it had been cancelled based purely on DVD sales. I chose Family Guy in the poll because when Family Guy was on the air('99-'02) it was 10 times funnier than Simpsons during those Years. It's really hard to compare the two shows though, one has been on for 15 seasons, and the other for 3.

That episode was just on recently, and that guy is such a weird little character. "Hey Griffin, down here. Yeah it's a secret tunnel like 'Hogan's Hero's'. Big Whoop, wanna fight about it?"

I don't know, I'd take that 'D' anyday of the week. If there was some freak opprotunity where the Sox could sign him I would jump on that pretty quick
