  1. What I really don't get is that KW claims he doesn't want to make any deals that are stupid and would make the team weaker, but if the team is 4 mil over budget wouldn't any trade improve the situation as long as it gets the team under budget?

I just can't wait to see how Larry is gonna f*** up his anniversary and opening night of the Producers in one night
  3. Well it's not like it's easy to scream your ass off every day on tour. It's just as hard as singing, and it's actually higher risk for your voice to go out. Randy Blythe of Lamb of God is a great example, he sounded damn perfect when I saw them live. It was incredible to hear.
  4. I only remember there one hit in the late 90's "Brick". They we're on SNL during that time and they f***ing blew. The singer was so off-key it was painful.

That damn thin air just f***s with me. All the offensive numbers are inflated as well as the ERA's. If you have a young pitcher trying to make the team that relies on breaking stuff, it's really hard to tell if it's the thin air or he's just plain getting rocked. I fear the ST where Honel is trying to break the rotation. I also think it might f*** with a pitchers mindset. You take getting rocked in ST into the season and your confidence is shot.
  6. I didn't even notice before, but it actually mentions the Sox in Anderson's profile on the rotoworld link: I really hope they do sign him. We need some table setters, he's a lefty, he can steal some bases. His D is questionable, but I do remember reading that is hustle isn't, and that he has a lot of range. I could be wrong though. He could also come pretty cheap since there is not much demand for a second baseman, which is always a plus.
  7. I think Ozzie could do wonders with Anderson, he's already familiar with Redmen and Looper, and anyone who's first name is possesive is always good in my book
  8. If I were the owner I'd sign him for tha reason alone. It would be the leagues first ever humor signing.

Jas, you buy the plane tickets this time, I'll buy next time As far as this WSI/Soxtalk war ...... It's a f***ing message board! f*** People!
  11. I have no problem with Jonny Boy, there was that time early last year when he was on the verge of being kicked out of the rotation, but he stepped up, and he had a ton of quality starts down the stretch last season. I am gonna once again, predict a breakout season for Jon, the third year in a row, but I don't care!

Our favorite stand-up comedian/crazy man will be co-hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live Jan 5-9. Just a heads up. I'll bump this thread when we get closer to the shows.
  13. I'm so confused I want to cry....
  14. You deleted my witty come back?!?!?! How DARE You Sir!!!!!
  15. I loved the Anti-Smoking episode, it was literally like they were reading my mind and opinions. How cool of a job must it be to make fun of the s*** you hate in life and have it on TV? The first couple of seasons of South Park were funny, but the novelty of foul mouthed kids kind of wore off pretty fast and some of the episodes weren't as funny. But maybe a season after the movie came out it became insanely good, and hasn't stopped being good since. They've just nailed all these things in pop culture and politics perfectly.

  17. Until I see Nomar Garciaparra on TV stating under his own free will "I do not want to play for the Chicago White Sox, and I wish to be traded again" It's Bulls*** to me.
  18. http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb...t=.jsp&c_id=cha Nice article. I hope he makes the team, I'll be rooting for you Felix.
  19. Well we won't really need him if they're keeping Nomar, unless Guillen can play second.
  20. I don't think the Dodgers will take PK too, that'll probably be too much for them. I'm all for keeping Nomar.
  21. Any people in Chicago are you hearing anything on the local radio or TV?
  22. I am on the keep Nomar boat. The problem last season was lack of "O"
  23. I hope that if this deal goes down that the Sox don't go and send Nomar to the Dodgers for the Pitchers etc. rumored. Hopefully they can get rid of Valentin and Koch, and PK so we can free up some salary. Or maybe they'll expand it. Who knows?
  24. Well if we're swapping Maggs for Nomar/Williamson, than Nomar would be that production that we're losing in Maggs. Nomar more than makes up for Maggs in the line-up.
  25. All I can say if it all goes down as planned is f*** YES!!!
