Man it almost seems to good to to be true for the Red Sox. I have a feeling that the Yankee's will still win the division. I'm not saying it's a curse but...

Man they are really putting Young on a pedestal by saying he's the early favorite for POY next year. I wonder if Anderson, Nanita, and Sweeney didn't get injured at the end of the short-season, they would have been on the "Guys to Watch" list.

My name only changed twice, once on Elmer Fudd, and once on Hacker. Cawi cc4li

Rolling Stone will just jump on the latest music trend and ram in into the ground saying how great a band is. For example right now they're getting on their knee's for all the "The" bands. I haven't seen the reviews specifically, maybe I'll look them up in a bit, but I guess every "The" band album to come out in the last year and a half has gotten a 5 star rating.

Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Best show I've been to in a while. 3 of my favorite bands of the moment at one show. What more could I ask for? Killswitch Engage started it off. Been wanting to see these guys for a while, and they did not dissapoint. Not only do these guys rock, but they do some funny s*** on-stage. They look like they're having so much damn fun. Gotta Love it. Lamb of God. WOW. Just great, firs time seeing these guys as well. Randy the lead singer can hit every scream perfectly, and it sounds like it does on the albums, I was very impressed. And can't forget the "Wall Of Death" Shadows Fall closed the show. Second time seeing them. This performence was better than the last time I saw them, mainly because the last time I saw them the lead singer was losing his voice. But Damn! This time he was going full force, and was just full of energy. Here is a pic of him, He has the coolest hair in Metal

Alright here's the deal with what I've read. Seth has said that making a cartoon like Family Guy costs a lot of money, so they would need a big budget to produce them again. Cartoon Network would not have enough money to provide that budget. So that's why he was talking about making a straight to DVD movie of it. But if 20th Century Fox is behind it so much, they could get FOX TV to put it back on, because they would have a nice budget. I agree they would need to put it in a nice timeslot. I've always said it would do fine on Sunday Night with the other animated shows. Also, who knows what will be ratings "gold" come 2005, assuming FG comes back, but your best bet if you go by top rated FOX shows now, Family Guy would be best suited if it followed American Idol
-
I never read anywhere that any group tried or succeded in getting the show cancelled. I thought it was just poor ratings that doomed the show.

I was just gonna post this, but you beat me! How dare you!! Only I can post Family Guy News!!!!! Here's to Fox (hopefully) making the right decsion

Student Teaching: Calling advice from all teachers
Cali replied to BridgeportHeather's topic in SLaM
I completely disagree that the students pick on the nice teachers. I knew and had plenty of cool teachers, and they we're adored by almost every student who was in class, with the exception of those kids who just hate everything about school. And every teacher who had a bad rep or was a horrible teacher, had s*** planned against them weeks in advance to f*** with them. At least in my case, being a hard ass, send you to the office and the drop of a hat kind of teacher DID NOT WORK. Being a cool teacher does not mean you're a teacher who doesn't command respect and who's kids never pass because of a lax environment. Some of the best final grades I had in school we're from the cool teachers. And some of the worst from horrible teachers, it's not a coinsidence. -
Ozzie coaching Izzy. Seems more likely that Maggs won't be traded unless the Yankees don't get Vlad or Sheffield. I hope Mags does stay here but if not, I'll take Soriano and Johnson thank you. The outfield will be interesting. 2 spots between Rowand, Harris, Reed, Borchard, and random FA journeymen or something

I'd take "The Rock" in a Sox uniform

Even though I live here, I know absolutley nothing abour Izturis beside he's young and plays great D. The poll question on the dodgers site is: What was the most pleasant surprise of the Dodgers' 2003 season? Izturis' improvements is one of the choices, hope that means something. Is he just a real young Clayton, minus the sometimes swinging for the fences attitude?

I'm sure that in KW's eyes Erstad is the definition of grinder and will covet him, especially after coming so close to getting him 2 seasons ago. Stick him in Center or stick him at First, whatever.

Me as of 5 minutes ago. Hair's a little messed up, but I do love my shirt.

Assuming that Konerko is dealt for Perez, and Koch for Cedeno. The Sox could trade Maggs to the Angels, either for Percy and some prospects, or Erstad and some prospects. Percy that's a given of what he can do, but if they do get Erstad, since they we're talking about moving him to first, the Sox could do the same. They could have Erstad going between 1B and CF, trading off with Frank and Harris/Rowand/FA CF'er. Man I love me the Hot Stove Season... and it's just getting warmed up
