Back when MLBTR did their top 50 free agent predictions, 2 of the writers had us signing him and 2 others had the Sox signing Hyeseong Kim. Obviously their guesses are worth nothing but just felt like tossing that out there. I guess for discussion sake, I wouldn’t hate signing either.

Taijuan Walker has been pretty dependable (other than last year) overall in his career.

I don't think anyone is really "up in arms." Just that he doesn't really do anything. Blocks someone else who you should probably play every day to see what you have and probably not a guy that won't bring back much in a trade in July if he does good. Edit: hope I'm wrong on that last part and the perfect scenario happens where they actually do get something interesting.

Looking at his defensive numbers, I don't think Tauchman will be in CF. His numbers across the OF look bad.

Yeah, when reading that, I thought the Profar and Walker numbers were a bit low but even if they were higher, it can still work. Walker, I feel like is looking at a 3 year, high AAV deal. Profar might get another year and a little higher AAV.

Yeah, I don't expect it to happen. I think when he gets traded it's somewhere between their current asking price and getting fleeced. Like maybe one blue chip prospect and a couple lesser prospects.
