I know he had that bad first game with the Cardinals but it still amazes me how they pulled off that heist. Literally got Fedde for a salary dump. Still think the Dodgers should have just traded directly with the Sox. If they wanted Edman that bad, I'm sure they could have moved something else for him to the Cards (like the piece or two they dealt to the Tigers for Flaherty) at the deadline or offseason.

Yeah move on from Sheets and go with 1B/DH of AV and Bell. Contradicts my Joc signing I guess but they’ll get whoever is cheap.

I’m good with a Joc signing too. Platoon him only against RHP. Josh Bell is a guy I’d maybe sign for 1B.

I want to move on from both of those guys as well. I just don't know who I would sign to play 1B. Josh Bell maybe to a 2-year deal or 1 year with an option? I don't know. Christian Walker is a free agent after this year as well and 34, so maybe you can overpay him a bit on a short-term, 2-3 year deal and look to trade him in the summer.
