    Right. You can’t just hold onto everyone. Guys eventually need to be added to the 40-man and guys run out of options. Elias seems hellbent on trying though.

    Have him get those innings in the minors. And when he gets hurt, he won’t have to burn service time on MLB IL.

    Maybe to cover for a couple of years but should they be that concerned about not having a "real CF prospect" over the next couple of years? Cedric Mullins also has 2 years of control left.

    Cowser isn’t a CF prospect? 253 career games in CF is significantly more than he’s played at the other 2 spots.

    Realistically, how many innings can even throw this year? Might just need to be a couple inning opener and 1 inning relief type role. That is, until he gets hurt and ends up on the IL…again.
