But just imagine if you were Dodgers fan.  A Conforto signing for the Sox would be the prize of our offseason.  For the Dodgers, his signing is an afterthought.

It’s absolutely wild, but none of this is good for the game.  And I’m not giving the cheap owners a free pass, but the lack of a real cap (and floor) is a legit problem if you care about parity at all.  Unfortunately, the MLB is all about making sure the large market teams are deep into the playoffs every year.
