  1. Yeah I agree that it doesn’t really make sense for them to deal 6 years on an MLB ready pitcher (and other pieces) for 2. Unless there were other pieces involved going to Seattle like Eloy for example. JeDi doesn’t shy away from the multi-piece deals. Edit: maybe not Eloy but you get it.
  2. It doesn’t matter. They’re going to suck with or without him. They have plenty of guys to take the ball next year.
  3. FWIW, they have the exact same amount of team control (6 years).
  4. Good to have an aggressive GM in the mix.
  5. Well Pedro is just answering the question. He’s still on the team, he’s the OD starter.
  6. “Brave enough?” Lol come on man.
  7. Thought the same about Tony. Next offseason target priority #1.
  8. Replace Robert? Robert has more control lol And if you’re making this deal for a guy with 3 years of control to improve your team over that time, you’re not trading Robert.
  9. He has more value playing CF. The Jays fucked up by bringing back KK instead of a bat first corner OF type bat.
  10. Terrible use of dealing Cease. So bad that I think you only posted it to get replies.
  11. Edit: wrong thread
  12. I saw recently that the Braves only have 12 position players on their 40-man (which I think changed today with a trade). Thats impressive this late in the off-season.
  13. At this point just hold him until the deadline. Teams will be in the hunt for pitching and they can’t fallback on the free agent market mid-season. Just put the best defense behind him every time he takes the ball. If that means Brett Phillips is in RF once every 5 days so be it.
  14. Maybe Getz blinks and the offer he accepts is something we all (well maybe not ALL) like
  15. In a deep farm, that’s kind of a bigger ask (like the guys outside the top 5 could be top 5 potentially in most orgs).
  16. Maybe there’s an offer out there he would accept but is just holding out to see what happens with the last couple of FAs.

Teams could probably get him for like, $1M now if he really wanted to play in the MLB. No team would trade for him in July, if he was even playing well enough to be traded. Zero upside for this team.
  18. And still getting paid by the Yankees so he would even be a league minimum signing. Edit: nvm you did say that
  19. Wish he would have put up over the past 3-4 seasons but at this point, just be productive enough to move by July 31st. Bad or not, hope he's not on the roster come 8/1, whether by trade or DFA.

They’re trying to move away from bad clubhouse guys. I don’t think adding Puig helps that.

    Yes, yes you will.
