  1. I was thinking 2B with Urias and Rojas platooning (they work better as a platoon than both starting).
  2. Take away opening day (for the teams with the decrease anyway) and I wonder how it looks
  3. Feel like it'll be Whit Merrifield for them.
  4. If he sucks, he’s making less than $5M AAV as a backup IF. It’s a fine gamble for a team.
  5. Idk if Caulfield has had this many responses on this site in the past 10 years which makes me think that was the whole point of this thread lol
  6. Definitely somewhere in the Cease thread over the last couple months. I just don’t give a s%*# if people agree or not. It’s not that important or matters what any of us think. Anyone can submit a shitty trade proposal anonymously. It’s not that brave. I will admit, I at least give credit to Caulfield proposing an actual deal other than “Sox should trade for Varsho” without saying who Sox should give up in said deal, which sounds very familiar. So brave…so heroic posting on a message board lmao Jesus Christ. Thank you for your service over the military overseas. You’re so heroic.
  7. Noticed Clase as well when looking at their prospects. Switch-hitting OF with 20 homers last year.
  8. I kind of agree. Just not sure why Seattle would really want to deal 6 years of either MLB ready starter (+ more) for 2 years.
  9. I hear ya. I think Urias and Rojas make a solid platoon at either 2B or 3B, not each of them starting at both spots. They can still add a 2B or 3B while those 2 platoon somewhere. I think cutting payroll had more to do with cutting down on guys who K a lot as well.
  10. Jerry is pretty random it seems lol I think he just gets bored and starts playing fantasy baseball lol
  11. They stripped salary but they have replacements where you can squint and see they’re “trying” to be competitive. Plus there’s still free agents they can add.
  12. Yeah I agree that it doesn’t really make sense for them to deal 6 years on an MLB ready pitcher (and other pieces) for 2. Unless there were other pieces involved going to Seattle like Eloy for example. JeDi doesn’t shy away from the multi-piece deals. Edit: maybe not Eloy but you get it.
  13. It doesn’t matter. They’re going to suck with or without him. They have plenty of guys to take the ball next year.
  14. FWIW, they have the exact same amount of team control (6 years).
  15. Good to have an aggressive GM in the mix.
  16. Well Pedro is just answering the question. He’s still on the team, he’s the OD starter.
  17. “Brave enough?” Lol come on man.
  18. Thought the same about Tony. Next offseason target priority #1.
  19. Replace Robert? Robert has more control lol And if you’re making this deal for a guy with 3 years of control to improve your team over that time, you’re not trading Robert.
  20. He has more value playing CF. The Jays fucked up by bringing back KK instead of a bat first corner OF type bat.
  21. Terrible use of dealing Cease. So bad that I think you only posted it to get replies.
  22. Edit: wrong thread
