  1. Just like every other signing for the most part
  2. Yeah that's kind of what I meant. Not saying go out and sign stars (well, because they don't).
  3. Well, yeah. That's more what I meant. Better 1-2 year deal type guys.
  4. As soon as they were locked into not picking higher than 10th, they should have committed to spending.
  5. Right, when your franchise record free agent signing is an average at best defensive fielder, singles hitter, it's probably too big of a gamble for said franchise.
  6. Well hopefully this was the kick in the nuts that the Yankees needed to make a deal. Just out of curiosity, if they dealt for Cease, is their luxury tax number so high that they are they still forfeiting all that anyway?
  7. Maybe closes off the possibility for now, but maybe they will need another SP in the summer. Probably still wouldn't want to pay the price then though.
  8. Diamondbacks, Reds, Pirates are teams that I feel like should be more involved. I guess the latter two can wait to add until the deadline to see how things are looking though.
  9. I feel a shorter, high AAV deal for Snell incoming.
  10. Have any idea how many teams are still in talks?
  11. Right. Just put the best defense behind him and let him pitch himself onto a contender.
  12. That's true. Part of me thinks one of the Spring Training invites is the RF, unfortunately. Though, with how this Cease thing is turning out, I wouldn't mind just putting the best defense possible behind Cease every start, even if that means Brett Phillips is the starting RF once every 5 days. He's definitely still the 4th OF but value at least put the best D possible behind your best trade chip.
  13. And that's a wash anyway since Burnes will get a QO. I agree though, I don't think it's as bad for Brewers as others have made it seem.
  14. Sooo he’s making that Opening Day start isn’t he? Just hope teams that have added this offseason will need to add again in the summer. Teams always need pitching.
  15. That 4 and 5 is very questionable haha
  16. Maybe they’ll be in on Cease at deadline
  17. Well now you gotta hold him into the season and wait for injuries.
  18. I think Clevinger's was a mutual option that he also declined.
  19. When I’m not there, I want the ballpark to be filled. When I go, love it to be empty.
  20. This isn’t streaming anywhere else?
