  1. I was thinking of doing that for Sling TV lol. Although, looking at the price, I might ask the people I share YouTube TV with if they want to switch. Wouldn't save significantly more but every bit helps these days I guess.
  2. Oh I didn’t know that part. Yeah I guess if you were out of town fan you would just pay the same price per month and get MLBTV.
  3. I really wish Youtube TV still had MLBN. I liked having the Winter Meetings coverage on in the background during the work day the last couple of years.
  4. And it's also fair to assume any team interested in winning in the next 2 years "has been looking into Dylan Cease deal with White Sox."
  5. If the Cubs signed him, they would get an entire country of Marquee subscribers.
  6. Well, I feel like since Korey Lee has an option and completely sucked when he was called up, having a defensive first guy to pair with the inevitable Sal Perez trade is fine with me. I just wouldn't want to see that guy (shades of when they took Nieto) and Lee.
  7. If you draft him, are you pairing him with Korey Lee? Not really a fan of that plan.
  8. They could sign another veteran to a 1 year deal (or say, Giolito to a 1 year deal with player option, similar to Rodon deal) and then Ohtani would replace said veteran.
  9. Yeah maybe see if you can find an interesting starter to hide in a long relief/6th starter role or something. Maybe that Kristian Robinson as a potential RHH 4th OF that Squirmin mentioned earlier in a thread.
  10. As long as there is space, yes. You have 3 spots open on the 40-man, you can draft 3 guys.
  11. They can cut guys after a move is made. Doesn't have to be in anticipation of a move happening. It does make sense if they want to take someone in the Rule 5 Draft though.
  12. I'm just referring to in general (in reference to "the 48 hour thing being overblown").
  13. Yeah I really don't read into Tweets too much. Some people overanalyze and overreact to every single one like there is a deep meaning when its likely piggybacking off another report and/or clickbait.
  14. Cornering the market on older, minor league OFs. Mark Payton (31) is back: https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2023/11/white-sox-mark-payton-agree-to-minor-league-contract.html Wynton Bernard (33): https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2023/11/white-sox-sign-wynton-bernard-to-minor-league-deal.html A whopping 52 major league games between the two.
  15. That's fine. Teams don't always want to spend on aging and/or (soon to be) declining players if they can trade unproven talent for proven, in their prime, controllable talent.
  16. Off topic/somewhat on topic, I just realized Glasnow's most IP in a season is last year at 120. And he's making $25M next year. Woof.
  17. Budgets exist. Also trying to get guys when they’re younger and in prime.
  18. Is it possible they’re pushing Cowser in favor of Hjerstad getting a shot to start in LF or RF for them? Either way, I would still hold out for Hjerstad.
  19. Yeah I was just saying, there is room for a couple more of the top prospects, if they’re not moved. Try to grab Kjerstad, Norby, and then other pieces.
  20. Who started most, Mateo? I know he started off hot and really cratered but doubt they will count on him for anything next year other than a bench role.
  21. Gunnar is at short right? Although I guess he has to move to 3B or 2B full time once Holliday is up.
