  1. I agree. But they might as well toss out a 1 year, like $15M offer and see if he bites. At least make him say no.
  2. Too soon for jokes about Chicago players and their moms. I think we've all had enough of that this week lol
  3. That would be great. Can offer QOs then if they pitch well enough. Lord knows we will need the pitching. Saving money on the TA option and paying DeJong instead, that money needs to be reinvested into the pitching.
  4. 1 year deals for both? Or similar Rodon deals where it can be multi-year but they can opt-out after 1?
  5. Only one I have never watched is Fargo but I think it's on the list. I also watched Gen V which didn't end not too long ago and a spin-off of The Boys.
  6. Benintendi is also untradeable at this point. It's a short list of guys who would/should be back next year.
  7. Team is going to suck next year with or without him. Trade him.
  8. Those guys can still get a ton of at bats but yeah, I would have had them compete for a spot in ST. Who knows, that could still be the plan at 2B if they want Lopez to be the backup.
  9. Anytime you look ahead to future lineups banking on prospects, you need the asterisks next to names: *if the player develops.
  10. Vaughn doesn't hit enough for 1B, I certainly don't want to pencil him into the DH spot (as of now).
  11. Could Busch make sense (for 3B) if they thought that Ramos could play 2B? I know nothing about how either of their defense is overall.
  12. I probably would have non-tendered before that deadline or DFA'd him today over Haseley personally.
  13. If you're going to discredit any season Eloy has an injury or surgery, you will never be able to fairly judge him lol
  14. He’s better off getting into the pitching lab in LA to see if they can make some tweaks and make him more consistent. Also near home. Good fit.
  15. Oh yeah, I figured $3M tops. Guy is lucky he didn’t get an MiLB deal after his last few years.
  16. Very slow work week for me this week (until the new month begins) so I already know they will pull off a deal around 10PM on Thursday or Friday at 10AM.
  17. It makes too much sense to not happen, especially if he maybe takes a multi-year deal with an opt out after year 1.
  18. I don't think so. He came over at the age of 28. And if he was a free agent in Japan, there wouldn't have been a posting fee. I haven't looked if he was just a free agent yet or not.
  19. Just fans posting ideas. That's about it and doesn't matter that its trending.
  20. I have a feeling the O’s are one of those teams that may prospect hug a little too tightly.
