  1. Lol was thinking the same. It’s such a cushiony job he has it for the next decade if he wants it.

What about Crochet? Innings per year (counting college, minors and MLB): 2018: 63.2 (all college) 2019: 65 (all college) 2020: 9.1 2021: 54.1 2022: 0 2023: 25 (split basically even between MiLB and MLB) In total: 217.1 IP over 6 years.
  3. Edward Cabrera undergoing MRI on right shoulder. Braxton Garrett is also dealing with shoulder soreness (potential guys available for trade in the summer). https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2024/03/edward-cabrera-to-undergo-mri-on-right-shoulder.html
  4. Yeah outside of that whole mess, I think teams and other players just really don't like him and using it as an excuse to not sign him.
  5. How so? And I swear to god, please don’t talk about needing a sea of empty parking lots like the current stadium.
  6. Oh I know it’s not possible. Just saying I’d rather try that than signing to an extension.
  7. Flip him and then try to re-sign in offseason.

    Fletcher better start hitting.

Hope for a big, healthy year and taking over for Moncada mid-season.

Just to get ABs…I guess. I doubt he actually will during regular season unless absolutely necessary. I actually don’t even think he will make the roster unless there is an injury.
  11. Amazing how much SP depth we’ve accumulated this offseason. They’re not good but you actually have guys who can step in and take the ball from the minors. That was lacking the last few years.
  12. Since...Thome? Edit: you can even remove the "LH" part and the answer is still probably the same.
  13. I think that's the point. Should have kept Colas around and played him at 1B instead.
  14. Including Yankees scouts being at Cease start. I’m sure they’re just enjoying a baseball game though.
  15. And he's been consistently inconsistent. He would come here and be terrible.
  16. I wonder where we got "Gio" from GIOlito. It will remain a mystery.
  17. Going to be a lot of those games haha
  18. So he's doing a showcase in front of interested teams...but has a handshake agreement with the Sox?
  19. Agreed but he’s literally here to be a platoon RF. But like I said, they might as well just give those at bats to Fletcher.
  20. Wrong. That’s the whole point of Pillar being on the roster. For how bad the team will be, they should play Fletcher against lefties though. Development year.
  21. “Limited platoon at bats” as a lefty is basically a starting player with RHP being dominant. Dodgers have about 3 platoons projected on their roster at SS and 2 in the OF.
  22. Probably DFA Stassi since he's making league minimum.
  23. Who is he related to?
  24. How can they possibly bump this exhilarating tag match that is on right now.
